My Kaifun is sad. It's almost out of Switch, and I told it that tonight is cleaning and new coils night, but it's sad that it won't be filled with switch for a little bit. I keep telling it, little tank, it's only temporary. You will be back with your soul mate shortly. Just have to do some maintenance. It will be ok, we'll do this together.

I haz a sad for your Kaifun, too. ;)

I wondered. It's different. I've never really done a straight up tobacco so it's definitely a change... and it's nice to work with a totally different NET tobacco, also... going to play with some new combinations of the new NET in several different short runs and see what plays... should be interesting...

This sounds fun!

Received my SWITCH yesterday and immediatley cleaned, recoild and rewicked my Kayfun. 26Ga/Organic Cotton @ 1.14 on a Nemesis. Poured in some SWITCH and had at it.

This really reminds me of the Tobacco Absolute I used to get when I was mixing my own ejuice.
The throat hit is excellent at 12mg - so glad I didnt get 18.
Cant really tell what the other flavors are but its dam good.

..I dont know why but some little voice in the back of my head is telling me to mix this with virus......

Thanks Kent. Think you need to seriously consider making this one a Nicoticket regular....

I need to do some Kayfun testing myself - I have been hooked on dripping. Getting more TA in the Kayfun?

I just broke my bottle of Switch back out for a little sample. Same Magma .8 ohm rayon setup.

The nose on the bottle in two days has taken some chocolate notes on. The honey predominance has diminished, but there is an almost Hops flavor in there at 13 watts. Chocolate notes at 10 watts. The Tobacco is very nice. Light and crisp on the exhale. Pleasant ash finish. When I take the watts all the way down to 7 all the flavors come together in a lovely cohesive vape!

Back in the box with you Switch, see you in a few.

This is an interesting vape it does have a slightly floral thing going on to my taste buds, it kind of reminds me of Backwoods Brew 555 Exotic. I honestly have no idea how to describe this taste other than to say it is quite good, I don't know if it will be a keeper for me but from the quality of the taste I bet it will be a keeper for others. I tried it on a mini protank 3 with a 1.5 ohm DC, I'll have to try it in my Mini Nautilus BVC to see how it taste in that as well. I've been vaping it while slowly writing this and I must say that with every hit I am actually liking it more and more so maybe I was wrong and it will be a keeper for me. It is also a very smooth vape with a pretty decent throat hit as well.

Glad you said chocolate Soignee.
When I first started vaping it this evening I was getting a little chocolate and wondering if I was crazy.

I'm liking Switch more and more. Only getting the resiny/green taste as an aftertaste now.
For some reason this is a nighttime vape for me. I haven't wanted it during the day, but it's quite satisfying at night.
Pairs nicely with beer...local (Sasquatch) stout tonight.

Question for those getting a resin, piney or floral note. What kind of wick are you using? Reason I ask is I started using Japanese cotton and rewicked with regular cotton this morning. I got a faint hint of I am guess what people are calling piney. I found it as woodsy but I can see it go either way.

I too get chocolate with both wicks.

Was using rayon - med grade balls.
Rewicked w/organic cotton tonight.

Tastes more woody/smokey on the front...there's only a little bit of the resiny note left and it's way on the aftertaste now, as in 5-10 secs after exhaling that lingers for quite awhile or in the nose when exhaling through nose. I don't get "green" anymore...I don't even know what that means, but that's what it made me think. Not a euphemism for "other stuff", just fresh and green.
There's some new spicy note I wasn't getting at all before, on the inhale and lingering...can't figure out what it is though.

But it seems less smooooth and luscious than it was on the rayon.

No clue if its the wicks or one extra day steeping.

I think Radio is starting to get jealous though :?:

I used to think that cotton balls where the shizz until I ordered some Japanese cotton. The only thing I don't like about the Japanese cotton is I get dry hits while there is still juice in the dripper. I have rewicked with different widths, less cotton overall, lots of cotton and the results remain the same. The flavor is awesome and more pure in my experience. The only reason I rewicked with cotton balls this time was to test out a DIY liquid I made. I get a much sweeter vape with cotton balls for some reason. The aftertaste is always sweet, not matter the liquid. Maybe it got rolled in sugar at the factory!

I'm REALLY curious about the Hops thing I'm picking up (Kent is just sitting back chuckling at ALL of this BTW 'cause he knows what the Tobacco is in the NET is (I assume)). There were some comments way back that wondered about a "certain" flavor that was being picked up on. Some talk about honey, terpenes ,piney, resin, floral et all. Only Hops and ... are in the same genetic family.

Limonene (lemon), Linalool (lavendar) and Pinene (conifer - pine trees) all have very similar flavor profiles to Hops and ....My nagging question, was the tobacco in the NET cured with Hops OR something like a Lavender or Lemon that are bringing these different nuanced subjective flavors out?

That's some well done NET. Using a Tobacco that already has a Chocolate note...

Anyhow...I like to REALLY dissect my flavors...part of what makes me be a Chef I guess...
