Noob question...I notice the same taste/aftertaste with The Switch as I do with Boba's Bounty from alien Visions. Are both of these NETs and if so do NETs from different brands tend to have the same flavor/taste characteristics?

Boba's is not a NET as far as I am aware. It is a blend of 3 different synthetic tobaccos along with other flavorings. Gorilla is the has the same flavorings plus banana and two of the synthetic tobaccos.

As far as NETs tasting the same from different vendors, highly unlikely at least as if the tried purposely even if they where to get it from the same vendor. The taste also depends on the % of flavoring used, the base liquids and the way it is mixed. I could give you a recipe for a liquid I make, down to the exact vendors and % but if they aren't mixed in the right order, there is a good chance it won't come out tasting like mine. Clones are close copies but no where exact for these reasons.

After having a few hours with it.... Well.... Let me start off all proper:

ZNA 30 Clone by Robbot
Taifun GT clone by HCigar
1.4ohm Single (28 gauge)
Cotton Wick
Wattage - 11-18

At first, I was surprised. Like, this reminds me A LOT of the virus. No, I'm not referring to the taste. I'm referring to the reaction. Uncertain at first but can't put it down! First few pulls, I'm thinking about the reviews I've read so far. Earthy, Check. Smoky, Check. Good Vapor, Check. Piney, Check.
From hear I start formulating my own opinions. I imagined it to be a little heavier/darker tasting, but it's not bad. Yea, I'm at not bad at this point... Floral hints, most definitely. I know floral isn't the proper term, but it's all I got right now to describe it. At this point I'm at 11 watts. So I think back to Clarks post, this likes heat, OK no problem, lets see what happens. 11 watts, 12, 13, change battery, 15, 18 here we go. The higher the wattage goes, the lesser the floral notes. Their still present, but diminishing and changing. This isn't what I was expecting really, but I'm not saying that as good or bad, just was picturing a darker taste. 5 hours later, 5 ml later, still vaping the hell out of it. I'm curious to see where this goes with a little steep, as I believe what I'm describing as floral will tamp down and/or blend in better with time. Too tired tonight, but tomorrow I'm planning on sticking about 5ml in an empty 15 bottle and leaving it with the cap off over night just in the name of science, if it goes to hell, that's ok... If something magical happens, then I can update for those that it's not hitting for.

My honest opinion after 5 hours with it (2 of which in a movie, so other than a couple stealth vapes I didn't really hit it) is that I REALLY like this. I feel like some steep will do it good, but I also think at this moment and early impression that it's just a hint of something away from being my perfect vape. I'm itching to drop a lil ACB in it (very 'lil) tomorrow just to add a small caramel note.

Like when I first tried the virus, it was "Meh" at first few pulls, but then I can't put it down and it's growing on me... Possibly the smoothest vape I've had yet, and really looking forward to where this ends up... It's a good thing I ordered 200ml, otherwise I probably wouldn't get to see what it tastes like fully steeped. I will say, crank the heat up!!!

I'm kinda envious of those of you that are getting the piney thing, I don't get it. *pout*

Great feedback!! I was curious about the Taifun GT... it's a really popular device and the closest thing I have to test is the R91 or the KFL+

hehe - the process is much more important than the ingredients - the process IS the secret... could provide all the flavorings, ratios, recipe... in the absence of process, would be a train-wreck.

I'm really on the fence the more I vape this. The fence between Great and OMG. Floral notes seem to have subsided on the Switch left in my tank overnight, smoothing the taste. I'm like, 90% of the way to just taking a Kaifun up to Things Remembered and seeing if they can engrave "The Switch" right into the stainless tank as a permanent home.

Vaping in my new Divo (26g microcoil .7ohms) on a Reo mini.
Ok, this is incredible. I'm definitely tasting something "piney" as well as floral, almost incense-y in a really GOOD way. I've tried a few NETs, but I don't think I've ever had anything like this. SO GOOD. Totally my new favorite. Not sure what I was thinking when I only ordered 30mL (you'd think I'd learn after doing the same thing with ACB ) Going to try it in the Odin later tonight.
I'm curious what will happen with some steeping, but I would hate to lose any of these subtle flavors. I could see how some people might not be that into it, but to me, it's perfect.

Thanks for your input. Maybe the similarities I'm noticing between the two is that both are more straight tobaccos, as opposed to the rest of my juices which are all bakery/fruit/dessert types. I think I will eventually like The Switch, it's just a different taste to me.

I've tried it on a patriot with a single coil and it's hard to describe. I am interested to see how it changes in the steep. One thing is when I saw it was named The Switch I thought a picture of Adrian Peterson would be a good logo for the juice

i tried it with couple drops of got cookie throw on wick (THROWN full force sloth dont play games) maybe three drops...was very good actually gently poured 3 drops frenilla different time that was wonderful

just remember when filling your tank is very important to follow appropriate process ie throw the cookie pour the frenilla let me explain why throwing the cookie is appropriate is reminiscent of hard substance cookie solid matter with cream whereas therefore religious ritual of the himalayans when they first used this juice (ask clark about that one) and frenilla is like the sacred milk and honey that flows through promised land more specifically cascading solemnly peacefully down the most beautiful rocks so majestic so gently pouring religious ritual when the indigenous tribes of promised land first used it (again i direct you to clark for full elaboration thereof)

Wow! ...if I 'throw' Got Cookie I'm more likely to get it anywhere but in the tank ...seriously though, I'll try! ....I get the image: crumbled cookie floating gently in full cream milk!

Mine is here but I've yet to try it, need to clean and rewick my KFLitePlus first, then we shall see... but I would bet it'll be right up there, judging by the reviews. The Virus was an immediate favorite of mine- FOOB and all. If The Switch is anything like it, I will be a VERY happy vaper!
