Cignot.com

Choice of batteries (650 or 1000mah), two atties, 5 empty tanks, 5 color choices.

If you get the kit with two 1000mah batteries, add the priority shipping upgrade, it will be $90.

Cignot warranties the atomizers for 30 days, and the batteries for 60, and has some of the best customer service in the industry.

Congrats on choosing the eGo-T, see my blog link in my signature for some tips/tricks and what to do (step by step) to get vaping once you receive your chosen Tanker :D

From Cignot, I ordered one of each (650 mAh and 1000mAh). When I inquired about the differences other than the battery, Vicki at cignot told me the 1000 is longer, which makes sense. Since I haven't tried any PVs before, I figure one of each made sense for me. Should get my kit tomorrow - excited!

First time vapor?....Congrats...

Just some friendly advice...you can do with what you want..I'd start with something more tried and true to begin with...Probably just the eGo with some cartomizers...say about 15-20...If you really want to go with the tank system..then buy that ALONG with some cartos....

I gave up anlogs about 5 months ago with a basic eGo system...I've also tried the tanks...To make a long story short...if not for my supply of cartos....I would have had to go back to smoking if I only had the tank system to rely on....You need a backup....

I like the idea of a backup. For the cartos - is that the Joye ego cartomizers, not the mega ego (or does that have cartridges)? Then you buy juice and drip it in? Am I close?

I've been posting this all over the forum (no affiliation with the vendor!), but ivape.net has the ego t starter kits for $59. Last time I checked they didn't have them in stock and the batteries are 650 mAh, but the batt. last me at least a full day and it comes with two attys, to batteries, 7 tanks (1 in each of the attys), & charger. Just my 2 cents.

I am leaning towards the ego-t as well. I started with an eGo in january and used that for about a week. bought a bunch of stuff at vapor4life for what i thought would be more convenience and portability because the kr8 was smaller. but i have been lugging around 6 batts, 8 cartos and a passthrough. and if im out all day, i still dont make it. thinking of ordering the tank system and getting 1000mah passthrough batts for my next purchase.

Mind clarifying as to why? I'm on a limited budget at the moment and am planning on ordering this tomorrow. To order two complete systems would be WAY too steep for me right now. Reading around the forums, it seems this tank system is getting rave reviews ... what was the problem?

Don't get me wrong, I've got my lil 510 here, and still have at least 10 cartos on hand ... but your post leads me to feel like the tank is something unusable for some people.

The tank gets mixed reviews. The whole tank system is in it's infancy so I'm finding that there have been MOSTLY great rave reviews, but a LOT of people are complaining of weak vapor or dry taste or not wicking or leaking issues.

My theory is that many of the raves come from new vapers who don't know what a really super fantastic vaping experience is like (no offense) and it IS a good vaping experience, just not the ultimate experience. OR the raves are from vapors for whom convenience is the ultimate sign of a great e-cig, because if nothing else you can say they are one of the top most convenient e-cigs out there today.

I do own one and have also tried cartomizers, carts, dripping and clearomizers. I've been using the tank quite a bit for the last couple of days and IMO it does rank up there, but I can't say I'm totally satisfied by the milder flavor that I get from mine. I have heard from several people that 1 out of 3 of the tank atomizers works really well, so I don't like the odds and will be shopping around for something better (like the vapemate).

I DEFINATELY do recommend that you get a standard eGo or Riva kit with the tank system parts (T-atomizer and T-carts) as an add on. I also think you should get a box of cartomizers and a drip tip as an add on too. After all, the top two methods of vaping are still cartomizers and drip tips. It would be a shame to venture into vaping without trying the top two methods at all.

Good luck! :)

For you leakers..check the cap end and make sure it is nice and smooth where the end cap goes on and no cracks or pieces missing. I just went to put another tank in service and noticed the end was all jagged and missing a small piece...good chance it would have not sealed and leaked. None of my other 4 tanks looked like that and they do not leak.

there have been a lot of reviews saying that the tank systems leak. some have problems others have been just fine. theres also reviews of people experiencing dulled flavor and such. Im still going to give the tank system a try. from another post here i found out theres a local supplier/vapor bar here in hawaii so im gonna check them out soon. Also, if youre not a heavy vaper, you could order components instead of a kit. at cignot you could get a passthrough batt 1000mah (24$), egoT atty (16$) and 5 tanks ($7), 5 pack of cartomizers (17$) i think when i was setting up an order with them it included free shipping.. 64$ for a pretty decent setup IMO. Ive only been vaping for a month. but looks like a good deal.

One reason is what you stated in your post….When I went to the tank system I bought 3 atomizers and 10 tanks…3 days of heaven….and then the atomizer quit…the next atomizer was unusable right out of the package….third one was good for a about 1 day…I had figured the 3 atomizers($16 a pop) would have given me at least a months worth of vaping…Instead I got about 4 days out of them

I don’t want to turn this thread into a tank war…Yes….the tank apparenttly works great for lots of people…But still seems to pose problems for lots of others….

I’d hate to see folks dump a good portion of their startup money into a "still in the works system" …There are lots of experienced vapors having problems(for whatever reason) with them….Maybe the tank system will work great for you…but what if it doesn’t?… You can by 5 -510 cartomizers for 7 dollars…less than half the price of ONE tank atomizer…

My post was only a suggestion…I still think a new vapor(especially one with linited funds) would be better served with a traditional eGo kit..Add and try whatever else you’d like…..After you have a proven, dependable system to fall back on…

What she said....and better than I could...

Thanks Rosa and Copperhead. I've decided I'm going with the Volcano Inferno:T. Since the atomizer cone for a "regular" setup is only like $4 and the drip mouthpiece is only like $1 ... adding that to my order will be an easy step. When I first asked the question, for some reason I was thinking that I'd need to buy an ENTIRE rig ... poking around, I see that the batteries and such are totally cross compatible with the standard Inferno system.

Thanks for the tips and heads up. I'm certain that I'll be pleased with both setups, especially considering I'm getting really sick of the weak performance of this mini I'm using.

@Rosa: I'm not a "total noob" ... more like a "noob with a little experience with entry level. I currently am using the Royal Smokes "Super Smoke" model. My local tobacco store sold me on it when my Randy's (non-existent CS from those guys) died on me in like 1 month (both batteries were dead, much to my chagrin). While the "Super Smoke" (I *think* it's a 510 mini fro reading the forums) performs twice as well as what I purchased previously, I'm still getting fairly weak draws off it compared to what I'm seeing in video reviews of better models ... not to mention, I can burn through a cartridge in about 2 hours (I vape HEAVILY) While I'm getting them from my tobacco shop for almost half the price of what's being offered on the manufacturer's site, it still seems like buying my own juice in bottles would be FAR more cost efficient.

Ok, after watching this video on the standard Inferno model:

I see that what I'd need to add to my purchase is:

An atty cone (for aesthetics): $3.49
A Magnum atty: $7.99
And a drip tip (I'm going for the aluminum, again, for aesthetics): $3.49

Additional investment: ~$15 to now own both an Inferno:T and a standard Inferno

Can't beat that.

I am new to e-cigs, but started with a 510, which is good, but within a few days knew that for the long haul I needed something else. I ordered the Inferno-T Friday, received it yesterday and I am in heaven! I don't really care to try dripping, I just want to be able to pick up my PV and enjoy. I never order Lobster for the same reason, I love it, but Lobster tails are just so much less hassle, Ha! Hope you enjoy whichever you choose. Jeni
