The taste of cignot liquids

Hello all,

At last I could get my 510 kit form cignot. I am very happy with the vapor, throat hit and the look of the e-cig but unfortunately the taste is good while vaping but terrible after vaping. There is like a residue taste which is very noticable. It is not a burnt taste people are talking about all the time.
The liquid in the cartridges was marlboro hig nic. and I also ordered marlboro flavored e-liquids in the bottle. they are same.

Is this because
- the liquids of cignot are not good
- marlboro flavor is not good
- high nic makes the taste worse?

Is it possible that the poly something material in the cartridge effects the taste in a bad way?

Can you please tell me the highest quality e-liquid supplier in the market? It can be expensive, I am sort of a light smoker.

You may want to email Terri over at cignot and talk with her. I have never had any problems with any of the flavors I have gotten from them, and I have ordered the USA Mix (marlboro) from a couple different vendors and it tastes the same. They also have some great prices on eliquid.

marlboro has an almost sickening sweet taste to me now. I was better when I couldn't taste as well ;-) The other thing it might be is the PG or VG whichever you got. It can have a sweet/cloying aftertaste. Not likely your cartridge filler but perhaps you're heating up the top edge of your cart - which may mean that your atty bridge is off center. Or like you suspect, it might be a nicotine bite - kinda like you get with cigarettes?? ;-)

It doesn't sound like you got any bad liquid from Cignot. That's simply how marlboro e-juice tastes. Personally, I like the Cignot marlboro liquid and never had a problem with any residue taste after vaping. But everyone's different.

There isn't really such a thing as "high quality, more expensive" e-juice that tastes better than the rest, you just have to find flavors that work for you. This may or may not involve a bit of trial and error on your part. One thing that IS for sure however, is that the liquid that Cignot sells is not low quality by any means. For the most part, liquid from different suppliers is not necessarily "higher" or "lower" quality, it is merely DIFFERENT. When shopping around, take note of whether that website sells Dekang, Joye, some other brand, or their own custom liquids. For example, a Dekang cherry from store A is probably going to be the same as a bottle of Dekang cherry from store B.

CIGNOTs' liquids are fine. But like some of the other posters mentioned--everywhere you shop they taste different and sometimes the same. Ultimately, you wind up having to get samples from everybody to find what you want.

I went the tobacco and marlboro and chocolate route then discovered cappuccino. So, between Cignot and their cappuccino I have most things I want.

High nic--rough flavor? Yes, it can happen like that. Try some cheap 'mix juice' and dilute the juice down some--that will smooth it out. And Yes, using pg or vg or a combination of both can change both the taste and after taste.

I ordered some EcoPure from Cignot, and they threw in a small vial of the English Toffee. I liked it so much I ordered a full vial.

...and I didn't think I'd enjoy anything that didn't taste like tobacco.

I'm getting farther and farther away from anything "tobacco," and that's a good thing.

Seriously, ecopure English toffee is great! I cannot stop vaping this! I highly recommend it! If your looking for a smooth, sweet vape this will hit the spot. It really does taste like a worthers original candy. I cannot recommend this juice enough. Really go get some. If you don't like it, you can send it to me!

On the other hand I ordered the EcoPure Menthol in the same order, and i hate it!
I ordered from cignot because they offer VG, and everything i read says that if the PG is too harsh, to much throat hit, to try the VG instead. So seeing how i love my PG mint carts, but wished they were a little less throat hit, i tried the ecopure menthol, because it was highly recommended. Unfortunately, it is extremely harsh! It burns my tongue, Its throat hit is like breathing fire. I took 2 puffs, and i don't think i can ever try it again, it was honestly painful. Mouth, throat, lungs all like on fire, it felt HOT like cinnamon feels to me, not at all cool like i expected. I am going to gift this to my friend in hopes he can use it, because i cannot. (go him i guess)
I also ordered their non ecopure VG: RY4, 555, menthol. Im afraid to even open the menthol, I wasted a cartomizer on the ecopure menthol and it is supposed to be better than this menthol. Well I guess better is subjective, so someday i will try it, but for now im scared of their menthol.
The Ry4 I have yet to open, im still sitting on 3, 10ml bottles of pg Ry4 I am trying to get through. Eventully when my ry4 is empty i am going to try it, i got it to compare VG to PG. The 555 is next up on my list to try, soon as i finish off this pg 555 so i can rinse its cart and refill it with the vg based 555 to compare it.

Use the menthol to spice up the RY4/555. I occasionally like the menthol alon but it's very very "refreshing"? So I add a couple drops to other flavors like my 555 to give it a bit of a menthol kick

Is it possible you are getting actual juice in your mouth? That has a rather sweetish taste that remains after vaping - I actually quite like the taste of it so it doesn't bother me that much but I can see that a bit later on (if you haven't vaped in between) that it might cloy.
