The ternimator - Wonder if anyone has used this? I have a 5volt passthru that gives a too hot vape and would like to have a vari-volt/lower voltage for my passthru. Looks like I can get a 510 connection on it to screw on my passthru, then my carto, then I would be able to adjust the vaping heat.

The Terminator needs to have 1.5 volts across it so on a 5 volt passthru it will drop to 3.5 volts , it is designed for 6-7.4 volt mods

Use a higher resistance Atty or Carto on it if its to hot, just a suggestion

Well ok, not really what I want. What I am thinking of is a box with a cord that plugs into the wall. The usb passthru plugs into the box and the box can adjust the output from 3 to 5 volts. If I knew anything about building electric items, I would attempt to build it. Thanks for the replies

These type of things are readily available I believe if you search around a bit, especially a variable voltage PT

All you need is a battery box, a switch and a little wire and you can make one for around $15.00 to $20.00. Or they are pretty cheap in the classifieds. Put a wanted sign in there.

I built one that goes from 1.2 volts (too low I know) to 12 volt something. That red on-off switch is off my old coffee pot if it looks familiar. It has an LED in the switch but I didn't use it.

That was the last module they made. Tenergy quit making them for some reason. The girl that works in shipping emailed me that she found one behind some boxes and heard I wanted one so I grabbed it and built the rest for it. It has volt and amp readout. I use it for testing things.

Think that it is exactly what I'm looking for, but I know how to plug something into the wall and a little bit about soldering wires, but that is about as far as I can go. I'll look in the classifieds, maybe tenergy could make somemore...
