It has been a week since I started vaping and I am loving every minute of it...

But as the title says there is something I am missing terribly after stopping analogs...

No it is not them darn cigarettes....

It is my trusted Zippo (With me for almost 6 years)

Every day I see it I feel I have to light up a cig just to work its wheels...

Well as the saying goes you cant have everything in life right..

Any of you guys also having your zippo's you treasure (But is now just a treasure in your chest)

Missing my analog with coffee did bother me for a little bit. I find that I don't drink coffee like I used to. Now, instead of having to go outside in all kinds of sucky weather, I can kick back in my easy chair, vape a few and enjoy it. I also enjoy seeing analog smokers stand outside in sucky weather off to the side of buildings, etc. Knowing I'm in a nice warm vehicle and get the same enjoyment as they do - and not having to smell STINKY of tobacco odour like they are. I hate cold weather. After having severely frostbitten feet and also spending nearly 10 years in the Army (you know how the military is about being in uncomfortable conditions) I can truthfully say I really don't like cold weather at all, LOL.
And the poster who said he was 'mummifying' his Zippos - LOL that was a good one! I have 2 lighters, but I just use them to start the woodstove on cold days.
Works for me!

Ha ha ha...before ecigs, I couldn't find a lighter if my life depended on it--in fact, there were times, in desperation, that I would light my cig from the kitchen stovetop burner and then make a mad dash out the back door to the deck. Now, 5+ weeks analog-free, I keep finding lighters around the house....I think the count is up to 6. A perfect example of Murphy's Law in action.

Ditto, I never realized how many lighters I had bought since being in Afghanistan.

Yes I have. My Zippo actually belonged to my grandfather first so there is a bit of sentimental attachment to it but now it sits on a shelf in my bookcase.

I know the feeling. I have a Zippo app on my Android. It clicks open and closed with a flick of the wrist (really!) and you flick the wheel to light it. If you blow on the phone, the mic picks it up and the flame flickers! You have to download this app if you have an Android. It's accessible through the market app icon. Just do a search for lighter.

Empty Zippos also make nice little carto holders.

I would never think of dismantling my baby...
I hate analogs now..

But will love my zippo to the end...

It has been a week since I have quit analog but I still carry my zippo in my pocket (Years of habit will have to sort that out too)

My youngest daughter's 7th Birthday was on the 3rd! Took her to a pizza joint she picked for her Party! After dinner we set up her cake and candles! None of us had a lighter for the candles as the 6 adult's there all quit smoking! Had to walk through the dining room asking hey buddy you got a lighter? LOL
I posted this story in PIF earlier but thought it applied here!
I miss my Zippo!
