I finally got my first Reo. I picked it up from a friend of mine for $40. Its a mini 2.1 with an RM3 single coil. Loving this little guy.

Did you have dirt on the friend for leverage? That is a hella good deal. Congrats on the pick up

It looks like you got a standard profile. That can always be milled down - either DIY or send it to Rob to do it - if you want to change it to low profile to fit more attys.

Nope - stole it - no question. You could either have that Mini - or an MVP 2.0 for forty bucks. So...
Thanks guys...I didn't know it was going to have the RM3 with it but I've known him for 20 some odd years . It also has the upgrade kit in it. Funny thing is when he said he was going to sell it to me I was so excited I ordered an RM2 and a upgrade kit before I even got it from him. So now I have a spare upgrade kid and RM2 coming.
Welp, parts is parts and at a minimum that spare battery spring in the kit is a must have. Nothing worse than a collapsed spring due to a shorting oopsie! to stop you from getting your squonk on.
Reality check: You ordered the correct RM2, the version for a non-LP Reo?
Yes it is the standard RM2 as I knew he wasn't going to sell me one of his brand new LP.
Great! Seems to be a very common mistake for new owners, ordering the wrong RM2 model.

Yes congrats. Even if you put a 1 in front of that $40 it would still be the best money you spent on a piece of vape gear
