A quick post of what fasttech called, {The Troll Styled RTA Rebuildable tank Atomizer } for $10.58.
As with the Azeroth (from fasttech,) the Troll has all the markings of the real thing. From the box, to what's in it.....
This Nichrome Ribbon Coil might not look so pretty, but it works very well....
7/6 - wrapped around 2.5mm jig. After mounting the coil and screwing snugly, I used the 2.0mm part of the jig to straighten the coil out (level with the deck.)
The positive / negative connector reminds me of a HammerHead Shark. Definitely not the easiest deck I've built on.
Not a great picture, but good enough to see the (high) connection bridge.
The juice port holes are huge and I left the wick long and touching the bottom of the deck.
I used a small wire to pull the wick back up to the coil ends. (The wick was still touching the base.)
Another crappy photo....
Summed Up!!!!
Nichrome Ribbon Wire, 0.2*1.0 (as the package reads) 7/6 - wrapped on 2.5mm.
The final Inside Diameter of the coils were approx. 2.2mm when straightened out.
The read out was 0.193 ohm.
I was thinking the wick would not be able to wick properly as it seemed a bit higher than other RBA's.....But after 50 or so hits, wicking perfect with no dry hits.
Another thought was, it might easily leak if left on it's side (as the juice port's are big.)
I will get back on that within a day or so......
At 57 watts, it hits smoothly with little sizzling. The taste is all there. And making big clouds.
The Troll can keep up with the best of RTA's.
The airflow ring moves smoothly, but is a tiny bit stiff. ( It does lock out at the ends. )
Air flow is great weather wide opened or closed up (and no whistling.)
I'll be back in a few days with what I experienced with the Troll.
At this moment,,,,, 2 thumbs up.............
