My wife and I both made a recent commitment to quit smoking in favor of vaping. So far we're doing pretty well with it but last night her brother died after a long and painful battle with cancer. We will be leaving for Cleveland in a couple of hours. This sad and stressful time will be the "ultimate" test for us in making this switch to vaping. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers (if you are so inclined) during these difficult days ahead. I'll let you know how we do. Cigarettes used to be our pacifier in times like these, now we look to our PV's to fill that roll.

Thoughts & Prayers sent your way!
Good luck!
Hubby & I just came back from a trip sort of like that, saying goodbye to my Aunt who is 101 years old, and saying goodbye to another aunt with cancer.
We made it ok, just make sure you take more supplies than you think you need!
We had to have our daughter overnight us more juice because we were scared we would run out....but we did not.
Good luck and have a safe travel.

im sorry for your loss... i have watched too many die from cancer. 1 in 5 deaths in the US are tobacco related illnesses. i wont be one if i can help it. i havent had an analog since the first day of vaping, and i am greatful for a product that finally got me off the coffin nails. remember, de mortuis nil nisi bonum, the tobacco is an insidious killer, but we vapers are ahead of the game now.
Good luck, and do what i did when i went to my last family funeral...remember the small things that make you smile...it doesnt turn lemons to lemonade but it does sweeten the tears.

Thank you, everyone, for your thoughts and warm wishes. What a great community here! The funeral was beautiful and it was good to be with family. As an update, I must admit to smoking 2 analogs the day of the funeral but other than that, I did the whole trip smoke free!
Also got a chance to turn 4 family members on to vaping and this forum. Maybe we'll see them soon. Peace on you.
