You know how it is. You get fidgety, waiting on your vapemail. It arrives. You open a bottle of liquid that begs you to sample it, but you know better. You wait. You give it it's due and let the flavor steep, age, meld... use the word you prefer. Finally that day, or week, arrives and you load up your clean tank. You allow the flavor to soak in so as not to have the first hit get ruined by THE BURN. Anxiously, you fire it up and inhale.

It's unvapeable.

Nothing at all like what you read in the reviews. Nothing at all about it brings to mind the words used to describe the flavor by friends. You want to kick yourself for ignoring that gut feeling telling you maybe don't do it. Don't add to cart! But, you did it anyway and now you have fewer dollars in your bank account and a flavor you don't want to throw away because you paid for it.

We've all been there.

I'm here to assure you, you're not alone! Because of the ECF members before me, I stopped tossing them. You might get a cold or vaper's tongue one day. I have a pretty harsh chest cold, respiratory, sinus thing going on right now. I couldn't even taste my coffee this morning.

I'm vaping my unvapeables.

This has been a Forum Service Announcement.

Or my cold meds are kicking in.

And I got bored and rambly.

Thanks ECF Vets for your assistance! :)

I'll take the missing 5%. I'm assuming they're REALLY good. :p

(just messing with you)

Oh yea! :laugh::laugh:

Put it this way, I've bought a lot of e-liquid but it's rare for me to go though a whole tank before I dump it. I mostly stick to DIY and just buy a couple I know I like.

I have at least 6 right now. Each of them are 18mg and are giving me a jolt for sure! I've dropped down since I ordered those, so I'm feeling little pain and tasting little less. Probably will sleep very little tonight, as well. I'll have to check out the PIF sections soon. Someone else's treasure and all.

I've kept all but two UnVapeables. Those two...I knew without any doubt that there was no way I would ever use them or even give them to someone I hated. They were that bad. I kept them for over six months before tossing, though. Everything else, I keep, just in case, and they've come in handy a few times. I got lucky with two that ended up being really good after about 8 months of sitting.

Honestly, about 85% of the pre-made e-liquid I buy is unvapable. About 5% are tolerable, and 5% good.

They all sound good. The reviews are good. Unfortunately to my palate, they just don't taste good.

I'm quite the opposite. I think I'm just "not that fussy", which is weird considering the amount of energy I expend trying to eke more out of my equipment. Probably a boy thing?

85% of juices are quite nice. 5% delicious, 5% horrible.

[secret 5% I'm so *utterly* indifferent to I can't even remember they exist]

I have a whole medicine cabinet fill of unvapables.:glare:
DIY learning curve hasn't helped much either.

Yes, like many - It was hard earned money and every so often I struggle through another bottle............ but those 30ml and that one 50ml scare the heck out of me. They are just not even what they say they are .

I have to add this into the mix:
The delivery device, ohms, vv, vw can change the taste of a vape, switch out your gear and that yacky juice is golden! ( I know, that's like a 1 in 20 chance, but worth a shot)
But, yep, got some overly hyped juice that smelled "toxic" from day 1, one of them turned fluorescent green after a month, I kid you not. They all smell like they could strip paint. They are a visual and corrosive experiment right now, all triple contained, I want to see how bizarre they will go. I don't even want to flush them and have my septic explode. Maybe they might make a good insect repellent, or be a substitute for naval jelly, de-grease engines with, an alternative to napalm?!?!?!?

To me rarely does an e-juice ever get great with age. It will change and mellow sometimes and not be as bad, but it usually is bad.

The only juice I can think of that changed to pretty good was Avejuice Christy's Cappuccino. Didn't like it at all and after a few weeks it was kinda tasty. Not that I would re-order it, but vapable to say the least. I think my taste buds are changing the longer I don't smoke. Juice I used to love is meh now. If you can find a few juices you like , you'll be ahead of the curve.

I never have thrown anything out though, just in case it does change or like someone mentioned above when you're sick or emergency juice or for a friend to try.

yeah yeah, i started a thread, about bad e juice experience, it is a gonner now, its living with the worms, but yah know you gots to try to find what you like, and then like it a lot, when it comes to the e juice. some good , some not so good, right ms legs, yah know, experience is money men and women, money i say, and we all like not the same thing, but sometimes the good e juice from the vaperman, most will like. If it really good , it really good, and most will like it.

Your YARK! may be someone else's vaping nirvana. Dumping 'cause you're mad at a liquid is a waste.

That's one thing I've definitely considered since I still have several, so I went ahead and got verified just in case. I gave a couple I didn't care for to a girl at work a while back. She loved em both. I'd give her more, but she's decided recently to smoke instead. Floored me.

My advice is don't believe the hype, ever. I've bought some 'premium' juices that were utterly vile yet people rave about them. They are justifying their purchase. You are lucky most of the time if they taste anything at all like they were supposed to from their description. Tobacco liquids are the worst. They say tobacco with a hint of 'insert flavour or flavours here' and you can never taste even the tiniest hint of tobacco because they were never made from tobacco extract.

True fact: disbelieve everything and try everything (if you have the money to throw away) and if you find a few you like you're doing well.
