Coriolis effect?

IMR batteries aren't li-ion. They are li-mn. The chemistry is safer, plus the unit itself has built in protection.
Actually they are both Li-Ion (Lithium Ion). Protected are generally Li-Po (Lithium Polymer), where IMR are Li-Mn (Lithium Manganese)
Li-Mn offer much higher discharge rates.
I agree on the Li-Mn/IMR part.... But are you sure the cells we use are Li-Po? Those are usually flat/thin. I've actually never seen a lipo cell that is cylindrical. And I have A LOT of lipos..... (r/c stuff)
EDIT: I have seen plenty of thin/flat Li-Ion cells. I am holding one in my hand right now. Apple phones use lipos from what I've heard.... Not sure as I am kind of a Droid guy myself.![]()
I am thinking the ICR cells are either lithium cobalt or lithium iron phosphate. But I am unsure on that.

You think these would be ok with the vamo
Trustfire Protected Lithium Ion E Cigarette Battery - 18350 - 1200 mAh
I have the v2 vamo and heard that the trustfire 3000mah batteries do not work on them. Well I put my trustfire 3000mah in mine and it works just fine. Is it ok to use it or could it do some damage to my vamo?
They should work (provided you don't try and push too many watts), but IMHO they're not worth their price.
As Gunnyglow said I'd rather go with IMR batteries, like AW or Efest, if I were you.
Expect my Vamos to be delivered in the next couple days. Set up the xtar wp2 ii charger with 2 Panasonic CGR18650CH batteries. The instruction sheet with the charger is hopeless, but found instructions within an online review.
If they're protected batteries, which I think/hope they are, worst case scenario is their protection circuit tripping when you try and push them too far, but no damage.
should i get flat or button top batts for the vamo sorry am going to order one later today and need to know exactly what batts to get
