No, not really.
The only flat top battery I have tried in mine is an AW ICR 18650. (the only one I own)
If I listed all the of each of those brands that would work, it would get a little convoluted.

That said, using both AW and Efest 18350's, the Efest appear to be of lesser quality.
I get the same impressions as the scientific testing I have read on them.
The testing I read on the 18350 showed the AW coming @ a little over 800mAh. (labeled 700mAh)
The Efest came in @ a little over 700mAh (labeled 800mAh)
My AW's lose less charge after resting then the Efest's as well.

I tend to agree with you, from my experience the IMRs 'last longer' per charger than the Efests.

I ordered a couple of Panasonic CGR18650CH CHEAP as linked from this blog..... ($9.53 shipped for 2)

I've never ordered from this vendor before, so it's a waiting game now. (est. 30 days)
Their website says that airmail upgrade is usually <$1.

I'm wondering if anyone has used the Vape Safe Mod Fuse 2 with a AW/Efest 18350 battery (Flat or nipple) on the vamo.

Does it fit properly? any issues with the cap not being able to screw on or screw on properly?

yes, i know the vamo has safety features built in and it's a little overkill but i like to play it safe cus I get a little paranoid with things that might go boom near my face.

It might fit with a flat top, but that safety feature is already built into the Vamo.

Good vendor, reasonable fast delivery. Got a couple from them before and they
are as promised.

Either one should work in recent vamos; just look inside the tube if you can see a gasket glued to the top of it (possibly red, many pics in this forum), around the positive post: in that case flat top batteries can be used w/o any problems.

If you're in doubt, get a button-top battery.

Just received my stainless steel Vamo today. It's got the red gasket you mention and works fine with the 18650 flat top battery (took the 18650 out of my eVic to fire it up). Definitely, the newer Vamos work with a flat top ICR 18650 Samsung battery which came with the eVic kit.

Will this battery work with the VAMO?
Samsung SDI

The Joyetech branded Samsung battery is the 26F.
Samsung SDI

Both appear to be similar with mah difference.

Thanks.

Looks like the first battery has a max discharge rate of 4.3A and the second is 5.2A.
The Joyetech one would be a better match, neither would be as good a choice as other batteries mentioned in this thread.

If there is some reason you have to buy a Samsung battery, they make a high drain model as well. (10A discharge rate)
These are very similar to the batteries I linked to a few posts up.

The problem is the availability in my country. The first one in the list is available readily and fairly cheap.

I haven't got my Vamo yet. I'm holding out for the version 3 to arrive (does anyone know if some vendor has it yet?).

Thanks so much for this thread. It is really helping me a lot. I have a question about chargers. Are there chargers out there that can charge 650's and 350's at the same time? Just wondering. I would like to get two of each. The 350's are only going to be used in stealth mode.

From what I've read, I want to get AW IMR batteries from RTDVapor. Anything wrong with my thinking? Just want to check and make sure.

Thanks

I use the nitecore i4, it has independent charging channels so you can put whatever you want in at once. (The only dependence is that channels 1&2 and 3&4 each share wattage, so 2 batteries in 1&3 charges faster than in 1&2..)

I am thinking about buying this charger do you guys recommend it or should i get a different one?
