While waiting for my Vamo to arrive, I have already ordered the pani 18650 batteries. I just need to get a couple of the smaller ones. Which 18350's should I order and button of flat? I scanned thu a lot of pages here and got tired.

If you want to stack batteries the Efest IMR flat top 18350s are probably the safest bet. Some, not all, people have reported that they can't get their battery cap screwed on all the way with stacked button tops

Some people prefer AW batteries, IMR 18350s. However, they don't come in a flat top version.

Stick with reliable sellers for batteries. It seems there a lot of factory seconds and fakes floating around.

I won't be stacking. I guess I'll go with some Efest batts. Thanks

So for using one 18350 battery in the Vamo, which ones should I get? Button or flat top? I find that most people are using the 18350 Efest batteries. Who has the best deals on these also? Thanks for all the help here.

I think most people are using the Efests because they are cheaper.....
I have both AW and Efest and find the AW's consistently superior to the Efests.
After 6 months of use they always hold a charge longer. They also loose less charge while idle.
To me it is worth the extra dough for the extra vape time.

That said, I have 2 Vamos and all my 18350s are button top. They fit single or stacked in both devices.
Although, in my older Vamo the bottom cap doesn't screw all the way on stacked. It is still secure and works fine.

Right now many sources are out of stock on AW 18350's, but here's a reputable vendor that has them:

AW IMR 18350 Li-Ion Battery (3.7v - 700mAh)

If you decide on Efests, CCV is a good source:

Efest IMR 18350 800mAh 3.7V LiMn Battery Flat Top or Nipple Tops (2PCS)

The batteries mine came with in the kit were two 18350s and they were flat top. Based on what I'v read in other threads, you should use the same two batteries together, that way they should run down at the same rate and you can recharge them together.

So maybe you want *three* 18350s, two for stacking and one for solo, and then you mark them to tell them apart. Or, you get a single 18350 with a button top for the solo.

Is there any advantage to using the AW IMR 18650 2000mAh LiMN Rechargeable Lithium Battery over the AW IMR18650 1600mAh LiMN rechargeable lithium battery?

Urge

From what I've read, (I don't have either) the 1600 holds voltage better at high current.
Under those conditions, it may hold a charge longer than the 2000.

HOW LONG DO SHIPMENTS FROM FAST TECH SIT IN BURLINGAME, CA????????!!!!!!??????!!!!!!

I have been patiently waiting on two Vamos from Fast Tech. They shipped them in 2-3 days as declared on their site (not in stock). They got to Burlingame, Ca 4 days ago and continue to sit there. I've had stuff come in from Europe and South America and it has never sat at a port of entry. Is this just the U.S. playing games with Chinese made imports? Anyone else have their gear sit in Ca for any length of time or am I just having bad luck?

I picked some of these up, too. Figured highest mah I can stuff in there will be the best bet; not being high drain, what problem could that cause? are they capable or exploding in my face or anything? I figured the vamo's protection circuitry would pretty much work with whatever I throw at it.

Mine sat in CA for a while, too. The next update showed it "out for delivery". Overall time was about 10 days to the East Coast not counting three days at FastTech.

Ok, I appreciate the reply. Just strange there is no delay whatsoever on the stuff coming in from the EU and I even got some things from Russia and the Ukraine with no delay.
