Hi all,

OK i am ready to take the leap to a VV PV. The biggest hurdle for me was thinking about carrying the big rig around but I am enjoying vaping so much and I think this will add greatly, at least all the reviews are saying it improves the flavor. I have watch several reviews of the Vamo and the Volcano's and several other VV products. I have a couple questions im guessing primarily center around the Vamo. Everything i read about it states that the 510 carto tanks and clearomizers all fit on it. Are these products going to delver the best flavor or is there a specialized carto the gives better flavor? I realize that flavor quality can be subjective for me i like heavy flavor medium to light throat hit. I am also very lazy and just want to fill and go and enjoy. One final question is I see plenty of deals online for the Vamo from 39.99 on sale now at VaporBreak for the body only. I have not seen a all together Vamo kit with batteries and charger. Does anybody know a good starter kit with a Vamo?

The VAMO is one of the only current APV with the ability to accept eGo skirted Clearomizers without the use of an adapter.

Loads of people swear by the Kanger T3 clearos. Carto tanks are very popular. A bit more difficult (but worth it imo) are the rebuildable atomizers (RBA).

I don't believe there is a specialized delivery system for the VAMO, but to me this is a good thing, as specialized/proprietary systems tend to be of lesser performance & more expensive to operate.

Welcome to ECF , you might want to check out PBusardo's video , on Youtube . I think he said that the Kanger T3's won't fit on a Vamo . Might be wrong , so check out his video . I have 2 Vamo's . Even at the regular price of 59.00 for the PV itself , is still a good deal . I have lots of APV's and by far , the Vamo , is turning out to be one of my favorites .

the kangers wont fit...BUT dont let that stop you...its by far the best VV/VW for a beginner...the OS is very simple to learn and its very reliable DO watch Pbusardo's review but know its old and they have fixed the minor issues he points out...I have one now and one one the way for a backup...ive seen the price go up and down... right now its less than 40 bucks from exhalevapors.com delivered.

the Vivi Nova fits like it was made for it and the inoken i30 fits great too.. its heavy and built well but with a 18350 its easy to handle.

I agree, the VAMO is a terrific piece of kit for the price. I use it with my re-buildables only (aga-t, etc.). I have heard that some find the low hertz rate (variously 33-37hz) results in a ratlesnake sound when vaping, but I haven't experienced that with my rebuidables.

I think for the price it is a no brainer.

Good luck!

I just got my vamo in today. The batteries are finally charged and I have been enjoying it for about an hour now and can only say that it makes a huge difference from my eGo batteries.

I picked up a few eGo twists a couple weeks ago just to see what variable voltage was all about and was kind of unimpressed. I almost decided not to get any kind of mod but the vamo was a good deal and I wanted to have something with variable wattage and long battery life.

As far as size, the vamo with a tank isn't bad, but it is a little more to carry than an ego. The flavor is much better though and for that I think it is worth it. I don't understand why the battery system would make a difference in flavor but it does, maybe a more consistent current? I have tried it with my normal setup, a vivi nova and my go to menthol, and it was great. I now have some new juice that I just picked up in a carto tank (my first one) and I don't notice a huge difference in the amount of flavor between the two setups, so I say just pick a clearo or carto tank you like and go for it.

I purchased mine from vapor beast in a kit with a case, batteries, and a charger. I might have paid a bit more, I didn't shop around to much and I wanted everything including batts and a charger, but I really enjoy the customer service from them (disclaimer: I have nothing to do with vapor beast, just a customer. If the last part is a problem I can edit it.).

I have one on order. Correct me if I am wrong but does it need nipples 18350's or will flat tops do as well..?

Both will work but nipples make the battery a bit more snug and thats a good thing.
I do get the rattlesnake from the 33.33 hz chip but it does not bother me a bit, its funny it only does it with a Nova...kinda reminds me that " this aint no ego"

Flat top or nipple batteries... the VAMO does not care (in single battery mode 18650 or shorty 18350)
If you register with VaporBreak, you will find the price of that VAMO is $26.99 (and the "kit" they sell is $33.49)
I use 6ml tanks on mine (Hell, on all my stuff now really!!)

Glad you're happy with it! It's fine to mention where you purchased something. :)

i've had the VAMO since Christmas time and i love it! i've tried CE4, kanger t3 w/adapter, vivi nova, dripping atomizers, and now the AGA-T+. to start with the VAMO i would recommend getting a vivi nova...it is pretty hassle free and easy to take apart, rinse clean, dry burn, fill up, and go.

if you don't get a kit just head over to rdtvapor and grab yourself a xtar wp2 charger, a couple of panasonic unprotected (2250mah i think) 18650 nipple tops, and a couple efest 800mah nipple top 18350s (flat tops sometime wont let you stack so get nipples just incase)

i have links in this post here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/vamo/380401-batteries-my-vamo.html#post8618542

KT3 will work with a 510 to ego adapter!
The kanger was mine on a egotwist until I got a vamo and a vivi. Now my bf has reclaimed it for his vamo after not liking it on the ego batteries.
Its a good clearo if you don't get the knock offs. We only have 1 of 3 left. 2 died almost right after we got them, but the one we still have works perfectly.
