So, just to be clear, there very well may be a reason (that I haven't thought of yet) why this might not be advisable, so Im not recommending this. Try at your own risk.
As I was laying down in bed last night with vaping thoughts circling my head, I thought, "If I can stack 18350s in my VAMO, then why wouldn't I be able to stack 18490s or even 18650s by adding extra sections"
Well, I own 4 VAMOS, so I have the extra sections to check it out and.....IT'LL WORK!
Add 1 extra section to stack 18490s and add 2 extra to stack 18650s. I using eFest button tops with no issues fitting the end cap on.
other than the fact that you end up with an obscenely long device, I haven't really been able to think of any reasons stacking these larger batteries would be a problem. If you can help me out in that department, please let me know.
