Ordered mine on Monday and chose first class and got a message the next day saying I'll be getting it in 1-3 days, and I still haven't gotten it. I should be getting it Monday, quick question... Who still uses these? I hardly see anyone vaping, and never seen anyone using a vapemate lol why is that? Makes your PV look like a super soaker! Haha!

Some people don't like the looks. I'm not minding it. I'm new to it, but I've managed to flood an HH .357 twice already. I think if you start with a full bottle you can get a little siphoning effect, slightly self feeding. And I'm not using the tube. I'll get it dialed in.

Hmmm maybe I should have grabbed some drip shields...

That's what I'm using at least until I get the hang of it. And if I'm flooding an HH, I'd really flood a cheaper atty.

Yeah! Do you have a v2 hh357? I didn't have a v1 but I hear the v2 is supposed to be less likely to leak, not sure though... I tend to over drip sometimes when I forget to check for the gurgle.

Yeah it's brand new custom made, and Hanna says they should not leak so I must have really flooded the thing. During break in, it's kind of hard to tell how much juice etc. so that's another thing I'm learning at the same time as learning the Vapemate. Pretty soon it should be 2nd nature. What I noticed is when you squeeze until the juice is through the looking glass, the juice that stays in there eventually gets sucked into the atty too, not just what you intended to drip so it only needs a slight squeeze when full.

Boy I'm glad this thread got going again, got my VapeMates going again. One particular mod I vape one particular juice in one particular atty, this setup's made for the VapeMate. Duh.
Tell me it doesn't look good too.

This has been covered several times before, but since I got up the nerve yesterday to perform the "funneling" mod on my silver VapeMate I'll cover it again.
Sometimes when using the older unmodified VapeMate, juice can collect in the cup where you insert the drip tip. If you create a funnel within that chamber it greatly reduces this. I use very thin PG juice and yesterday when I first put my VapeMate on I was experiencing this problem, so I took a general purpose 3/16" drill bit, inserted the point into the little hole in the cup and reamed out a funnel by hand. Easy as pie and took no time at all. The juice collection has been almost entirely eliminated. I highly suggest this if you have an unmodified VapeMate.

With my juice and the 901 atomizer my VapeMate is practically auto feeding. All day yesterday and part of today I only squonked my bottle six or seven times, the rest of the time was taken care of with juice that remained in the sight glass or juice which made its way there just by jostling around in my pocket. The tiniest tilt & squonk gets the job done, and no leaking or dripping even out of my 901.

K so, mine is new hand has a funnel, i thought I would have already gotten the hang of it, problem is, I'm constantly flooding... If it's not flooded, it's dry? I'm primarily a dripper, but new to feeders. So, is there a way to know if my atty needs more juice without getting the dry atty? I'm using 510 hh357s and they're just a few months old, but already popped one with the vapemate. Should I use my cheaper attys until I get the hang of it?

Did you break them in first? I am thinking I should probably drip normally for a week or two first and then use the vapemate, I just stuck it on there brand new but with drip shield. So far, I'm getting a little better at it but I won't know for a week or two how well it's doing, sure tastes good though. Hoping for better wicking after a few more days and maybe a cleaning.

With the VapeMate, as with dripping in general, less is more. With my thin juice the minute I see juice in the sight glass I know I'm good.

I'm using about 75/25 and I'm starting to realize it's about the same here. The juice is dark so I need a little tiny bit more of a squeeze but I'm getting the hang of it slowly. Thanks for the input as always it is very helpful.

I forget, are you tubing or tubeless?

The only time I have problems regulating the juice is when the bottle gets below 1/4 full and I have to tilt the apparatus too far over. Tend to flood then. I just don't let the bottle get that empty.
The VapeMate does take a little practice, maybe a week or less, but for me after it was smooth sailing. Like I said, I used it daily for many months until I got all caught up with other things. I'm back now.

Yeah, been using them for a few months now, I had 4 in rotation, now I'm down to 3. They have been broken in, I guess I just need to get the hang of the vapemate.
