alot of it depends on on what you are vaping with. if you are using a blu nothing you can do with give you a ton of vapor. If you are using a ego with low res atty then your going to get pretty good vapor out of 100% pg. But, yes Vg tends to give more vapor. I have also noticed that the amount of nic has alot to do with th. I use 26mg and i notice a considerable difference when i go down to my 16mg juices. I have found a liking for 100%vg 26mg as it tends to give me the best of both worlds.

again alot of it is personal preference so your best bet would be to buy a little of each and see what you like.

however i was a pack a day smoker so i like the higher nic content. I would not suggest adding more nic than you need just to get th. there are several vendors that offer 70/30 50/50 mixes. try vaperite.com or avejuice.com they offer different combo's.

here is a link that will help you out. There is a ton of information on the subject.

Like WomanofHeart, TH isn't my thing, but I do like tons of vapor. I use a 50/50 blend. Higher nic levels do give more TH. My same flavored juice in 50/50 at 24mg will give more TH, then at 14mg.
The only problem I've found with 100VG is loss of flavor, but there are vendors who offer extra flavor as an option.

here's my experience so far... I got a KR808 type last week so I'm only a week into this. My kit came with ZERO nic cartos... searched for and obtained locally 10 ml of 24mg nic tobbaco flavour juice, I assume it's PG, dont really know, put it in my PV and it hit my throat like an inferno!!! WAY too much throat hit!
I needed to cut it so I got some food grade VG from a health food store ($5 fer 125 ml cheap) and also got some flavours. I mix like this

1 part pg with nic+2 parts vg+a lil flavour that should work out to about 6-7 mg nic juice, which doesnt sound like alot to me seeing as I am a pack a day smoker (was)...

PERFECT smoke for me... exact amount of throat hitI like but it still seems too much nic, if I vape alot I get a lil wired, but I dont want to go lower and loose the lil kick I get, and it tastes yummmmy....mmmm watermellon!!!

So if I was to order 100% VG would that mean I would get almost 0 TH? it would also help if you guys would include what you use. 50/50 or 100% VG or 100% PG not that I base my decision on it but you guys have experience with it and it would be helpful.

Thanks for the input so far everyone

The biggest factor for throat hit is nicotine level. PG tends to act as an 'agent' for throat hit and VG tends to reduce it - smooth it out.

If you're vaping 36mg with 100% VG, you'll still get a throat hit - just not as big of a one if you were vaping with 100% VG.

And when I say '100% VG' - unless you DIY, nothing is 100% VG - VG used as a blend is usually cut 80:20 with water and almost all flavoring is kept in either PG or PG with some VG. Sometimes a vendor will use VG as the blend only and has a nic base in PG and flavoring that is in PG, but it will be listed as 'VG'. IF you're allergic to PG you have to know these things. I'm not but know some who are.

To be perfectly honest 100% VG is just a total pain for me. I think VG juices are sweeter and kick out a ton of vapor. VG also gunks up attys, doesn't work well in cartos, and is even a pain in the kiester in ce2's. I very much prefer 50/50 or pg80/20vg. VG is great, and PG is great, let em share the wealth. If you're using 100% VG and dripping or bottom-feeding your attys won't last quite as long, and you'll have to clean your cartos more. If you use 100% pg you'll lose out on vapor production (I for one, am not worried about vapor plumes) and your sweeter flavors will miss out on that extra sweetness that the sugar-based VG offers.

That's why I say 50/50. Great vapor, awesome flavor, great TH with most juices, and it's easier on the carto and atty.

I'll just say my experience is different. Pure VG is thick. For someone to use it straight like that is not good, but VG blended with distilled water at 15-20% is about the same viscosity as good PG and won't affect atomizers adversely. While some people taste it as sweeter, there isn't any sugar in it to gum up attys. I've dripped on lr 306s for months without losing an atty and have a bottom feeding wetbox with a CE2 that has my '100% VG' - again diluted with H2O where I've never lost a CE2 - in fact I have the original one - an R2 2.3Ω that I've never changed out - we're talking @8 months. I do dry burn it occasionally. Throat hit isn't a big factor for me and for me and a few others that I'm aware of - flavor is better with VG than PG but that's a personal subjective taste thing.

I only have a problem with certain flavors gunking up ce2 coils, and I'm not BLAMING vg, but it does seem to be a constant. When I started mixing my 20/80 liquid with an 80/20 liquid all of my troubles went away, which got me to 50/50 and it's fantastic. so I highly recommend 50/50. I like some elements of VG (namely the flavor as you mentioned Kent) and some of the properties of PG (solubility and 'kick'). So why not go 50/50 and get the best of both worlds? Just my opinion.

Edit: I still have all of my original Ce2's as well, except for two which got frazzled wicks. The only ones I've officially lost were my own fault because I managed to break the wires off of the guts and I don't feel like soldering them back. I find that the longer you use a ce2 the better it works.
