Well, I finally broke down and ordered a vmod for myself. I was first attracted by the design. When I first ran across it 6-7 months ago there was nothing else like it on the market but I didn't want to get a bottomfeeder. My first device was a go-go and I swore to myself that I did not want to get mixed up with old technology ie. atomizers. I had read too many horror stories on this forum. Also the talk of proprietary cartos turned me off a little. The g-o-go has proprietary threads, 1 pv like that was enough. After reading all the good reviews on this thread and realizing that it was not as proprietary as I thought I broke down and ordered it yesterday. I still like the go-go but think I need something stronger.

I hope to get it by Tuesday but have not received a shipping notice yet. I also ordered some extra carts and the hybrid atomizers. I would like to get some advice as to how long the atty's last for before they need cleaning, should I clean them and will both ohms work on the 3.7v or do I need to get 6v batteries. I really don't want to get another charger, I'm running out of outlets in the apartment.

Wow... lot of good info in this thread. I'm holding out for some of the Hybrid attys to give the v-mod a fair shot. As it stands right now i'm not all that impressed with it.

I have tried every which way I can to learn how to feed it correctly. I just end up with a flooded mess everywhere. The one time I thought I had it down. I opened up the v-mod to change the battery and there was juice everywhere :(

Not sure i will ever like the silo cartoz, but the Hybrid seems promising.

Feeding:

1) invert device & wait for juice to fill the bottleneck on the fill bottle. You may even wiggle it a bit & look for the air bubbles.

2) turn upright & squeeze the bottle.
(You will hear the pocket of juice release into the chamber.)

3) dry pull a few times to fill the Hybrid or Silo with juice from the chamber.

4) Vape

5) when atty or carto gets dry, do a couple of dry pulls again.

6) when chamber is empty...see #1

Notes: make sure you are using both seals on the atty or carto. One is an o-ring on above the threads, the other is a band that goes around the atty. Having both of these seals in place is imperative to prevent leaking.

i'll be doing a complete run-through of the vmod this weekend.

grimm, turn it upside down, then right side up. gently squeeze the bottle - you'll hear the juice go into the chamber. then gently squeeze again to go from chamber to atty (or cold draw). now you're ready.

Thanks Joker, I like that term "cold draw"

I was pretty dissapointed with it too, and even thought i received a faulty unit, but thanks to these lovely peeps i learned how to feed it correctly and now, every time i open it to swap the battery or bottle, it's 100% dry.

I don't even think about what i am doing to feed it anymore. It just...works
