Wow, I have read allot on the Vmod over the last few days!! (Currently I have an ego-t type b with 900mah bats)

I'm considering buying the premium kit, but have a couple of questions:
If the VMOD is accidentally turned upside down in a pocket, will there be leakage?
How does the battery run time compare to an ego-t regulated 900mah?

Ordepinc, welcome to Vmodia. :)

I do not have any problems pocketing mine whatsoever. Just as with any pv, you would want to vape an atty mostly dry. Cartos are no problem as long as they are not over feed.

14500 batts are 600-900 mAh, depending on brand & protected vs high drain. The difference is you will be vaping @ 3.7V and last I knew eGo are 3.2V.

Hope that helps. :)

I guess another way to place the question would be:
Currently my ego-t bat will effectively last me all day, would it be reasonable to expect the same from a vapage bat?
That would also depend on your vapin' style, I use 2 Vapage batts to finish off a full bottle in the Vmod. Hope that helps:vapor:

Thanks Taz,

I do understand the voltage difference, but doesn't the voltage regulation effectively make the ego bat last longer?

Welcome ordepinc... I can start off the day (5am) with a freshly charged battery and make it most of the day before I change batteries. I use an AW IMR 14500 (600mAh). My sweet spot w/ the Vmod is 3.9 to about 3.6 volts that's with a 1.5ohm or a 2.0 ohm atty. Everybody and every PV has their own sweet spot that gives the most satisfying vapor/ TH. Depending on how much you vape during the day I think you would get close to a full day out of a battery. I always carry a spare battery just in case................

Been many moons since I used eGos. I was going through 3-4 a day at the end. LR attys took their toll. I currently go through 3-4 14500 batts a day now, but they are 600 mAh high drains. My best guess is that it will be similar. However, many Vmoddians have reported increased vaping just because they enjoy it so much.

So much depends on you prefered set up & vape style.

That helps alot, Thanks everyone.
Are there any recommended purchases I should make from them along with the premium kit?
Extra attys for certain at this sale price. They didn't have silos yesterday but if they do you might want to try those also. Seal kit is good to have.

I talked to Brian the other day, & one of the things I asked about was the Silos. He told me there was a hang-up at the factory & he was really ...... about it. He raised some heck & they are on their way to the states now. Should be in stock, hopefully, next week. :)

BTW...

The Head Janitor has returned home from his latest stint in China. :toast:

When there is leakage, it's more like a wet smear to mop up on the inner chassis when you open it. Never had anything like a wet pocket. If you work out the upper seal issues, you can carry them on their side just fine, just treat as any handy device. Upside down on occasion is alright too. Best to keep finish away from keys and change. And pavement.

When I first got the Vmod I compared the battery life to an eGo, both using 2.2 Ohm ohm gear. You're right. The eGo circuit with its regulation really stretches the capacity of that battery and evens out the curve. I was getting about twice as long useful vaping on a 900 mAh eGo vs. the 14500s. You may also find you like swapping 14500s before they get too low. Carrying extra loaded 14500s is so easy given the size. Unscrew and lift, wipe off any drool, swap the battery, add some juce. The whole operation takes under a minute. I do it 4-5 times a day. The blue Vapage batteries are very good. They sell them at a fair price, so I would pick up extra batteries, and extra bottles for sure. It works best for me with the bottle a little over half full. Only squirshing at the bottom of the bottle has definitely extended the bottle life. I'd get a wood-grain rubberized body too.

@Everyone, Happy Thanksgiving !
