For 3,7V vaping...yes, 2.0 ohm is considered LR, though barely.

Nope, the stock atty rarely is a LR one, because of the risks of killing them faster :p

As far as i know, 2.0 is the barrier of entry for LR at 3.7V vaping, and of course anything lower qualifies. Advantages are usually more flavor, warmer vapor and more of it too, disadvantages are...a higher risk to pop it, since they go hotter.

I'm using a 2.0 atty, is that considered LR?
Is my stock Tornado Tank a LR?
How do I know what is Low Resistance and what advantages/disadvantages are there with LR?
Curious minds need to know :)

Did I screw up my Vmod?

Look inside your Vmod. There is a thin wire running from the bottom of the 510 over to the battery spring. My question is does that wire bend up from the 510 towards the top of the spring or does it lie more or less parallel with the floor of the plastic housing?

I think I might have screwed mine up while washing it out or maybe I'm just paranoid. I could swear it angled upward but the mod still seems to work correctly.

If it is supposed to angle does anyone know how to fix it without having to send it back?

one more positive customer service happenstance:

The folks at vapage got all frisky about sending me my vmod, and left out my atomizers. While that's no fun, the good part is that they are now in the mail thanks to some very swift action, once they were made aware of the problem. Thanks again to the vapage fellers! Totally ordering another VMod after the new chassis comes out. I just wish that *purple* was possible.

Mine lasts quite awhile too.
I take both Vmods, with fresh batteries, and I'm good for a couple of days.
I realize others vape more than I do, but it's certainly a huge improvement over other 14500 mods.
It always seemed like I needed to change batts every few hours.
The Vmod has a very low internal resistance, which helps squeeze out every mAh.

I would like to discuss version 2.0 of the Vmod.

I believe that almost everyone would like an 18650 version. But then it gets tricky. I've seen mention of a VV, nice but where would you put the dial, the only logical place is on the bottom plate. So a recessed dial or a screw adjustment. I just don't think that would look very appealing. What I am thinking is maybe a slider switch like the Fistpak with several fixed voltages ranging from 3.7 - 6 volts. It would still have to be installed on the bottom, but a recessed slider switch could be adjusted with a pen and you would know where you are.

I would hate for Vapage to change the Vmods unique and sleek design.

What are your ideas?

Lets get a dialog going and maybe we can have some influence on the next release.

Okay, here's my problem…

I've had my vmod for about 4 days and I love it, but last night it started acting up.

I removed the hybrid atty (1.5 ohm AMG Hybrid) to use on my 1000 mAh ego batt (it worked, but I didn't enjoy it as much as on the vmod), so I put it back onto my vmod (w/ o ring back on). Nothing happened. Then I put a newly charged batt onto the vmod as well as a brand new atomizer - still nothing. Both brand spanking new atties didn't work anymore.

I put both hybrid atties onto my ego and they didn't work either (not heating). I got the 2 silos to work on both devices but I don't really like them when compared to the hybrids.

How is it possible that a barely used atty and a brand new atty don't work? Is there any thing I can do about this? And to be honest I don't want to spend another $18 + shipping if the atties are just going to die right away.

On another note I just went onto Vapage's website and they're selling a "universal atty" - does that mean the ego killed my atty? Except I don't recall putting the brand new, unused hybrid on my ego (just the 4 day old one).

I'm still here on ECF... sort of. ;)
