Hey everybody.... I thought I would give some input on my experience thus far... In case some of you are not aware I had some serious issues with feeding with the Vmod. At this point I believe it had everything to do with the O-ring/seal ring that fits along the side of the atty/cartomizer and as AMG commented on might have been a fraction of a mm to long. I have since modded it by using a razor blade/box cutter. I notched/cut a small section from it to give the feeding tube a gap to feed the feeding chamber... Since I have done this the Vmod has been vaping like steam engine or for lack of a better term "The Little Engine That Could". I am very pleased. I am still having some over feed issues like Grimm Green and getting a bit of a mess internally but this thing is rocking. I swear in the car I was almost waving my and to clear the vapor. I am not sure if my initial experiences are a cause of the over feeding but a contributor at the very least. As the day has gone by I have had less internal mess. Based upon my past experiences I would proudly recommend this sweet little device to any looking for a new bottom feeder/toy addition to their pv stock even though I had a bit of a hiccup to get it to work properly.

Short feeding instructions: Tilt. Wiggle. Bubbles. Upright. Squeeze. Dry pulls. vape, alot, everywhere. Repeat.

My question to Kat or other Vmod veterans is.... According to the directions the tilt squeeze turn up right and squeeze again... Is this the cause of over feeding... Is the best way as Kat posted "Tilt. Wiggle. Bubbles. Upright. Squeeze. Dry pulls. Vape".... Is this enough to fill the feeding chamber? By following the fore mentioned you are letting gravity do the work to fill the feeding chamber and then a quick squeeze to force the juice into the atty/carto. Am I missing some thing? Just curious....

I dont squeeze when its tipped.I only squeeze after I return it to the upright position.Tip,bubbles,upright,squeeze,vape.

Tip upside down.
Watch for the bubbles.
Turn upright.
Squeeze gently until juice releases into chamber.
Cold pull juice into atty or carto.
Vape.

If you squeeze in the tilted position, which I sometimes do in order to get the bubbles, just be cautious. There was a time I squeezed twice in the upside down position, and sure enuf, juice came tumbling down thru the drip tip, all over me. Lovely. So if you see the bubbles in the tilt down position, don't squeeze. Follow AG's instructions. It's really not difficult at all.

Use the scotch tape on the cracked area if you've got it, and wait til the 19th to send an email with your mailing address for a replacement.

With all that said, yes, it's the little engine that could, would, and does! (But I repeat myself.) A great little mod!!

I think the written instructions of tilt, bubbles, squeeze, return upright squeeze again is a cause for internal mess.... I know that this has been covered more than once but bears repeating since it can be easily overlooked when one has written instructions vs a subject that was covered many pages ago.... JMHO...

Thanks to all you guys for all the input you put forth... If not for the vets here I may have dropped the dough on a reo that I cannot really afford to get a quality BF vape....

I own almost every bottom feed mod on the market.
I'm confident in saying...the Vmod gives the same quality vape as mods costing twice as much.
Better in some cases...:2c:

Down the rabbit hole..
here are pics of the changes being made to the next batch of hybrids...:)....Enjoy!

 These are the changes being made in the next batch:

The coils are pretty. They are consistent and centered to give better/consistent vapage.

The connecter pin is new; it is now 1.3mm; down from 1.6mm to give better mouth draw. The
Venturi end is smaller now (lower profile) to fit ALL 510 connectors.

A new "lower" washer seal is now included on all Hybrid BF sold to work with the floating connector issue of the REO Mod. It also works with the VMOD same as always.

The inner wires are now away from the Venturi hole so the airflow is consistent

All Hybrids come dry, and are metered before packaging. This results in almost zero DOA's, and +/- 1ohm of spec

Gotta ask....Do you notice a difference in the vape quality of the hybrid BF atty on other BF devices than the Vmod?

One thing AG so cleverly discovered is the neck of the bottle provides a perfect amount of juice to fill the chamber. If you depress while inverted, you can easily overfill. Just inverting till the bubble rise allows the juice to fill the neck;-)
