Sorry for the delay, but had to leave for a bit. Ok, both batts are fully charged. I put them back into the VMOD and just took a hit. There is the SLIGHTEST wisp of vapor on the inhale, but zero on the exhale. I think these 2 little things lived a wonderful life in their one afternoon yesterday, but they are ready for the great battery land beyond.

I like the 1.8 silos better so far, the 1.5 bf hybrid tastes like burning...but when i try to compensate with more juice it leaks inside the case. Ima bit confused.

Some good battery info for everyone:

14500's wear out rather fast with this type of application. After a couple of dozen uses performance runs out quickly.

Setting them aside for a few weeks at half charge tends to bring them back to a good state.

Also, using 2 or 3 batteries in rotation really helps longevity.

Letting them sit (as long as you can stand) after charging helps too. Try to let the battery sit for 30 minutes to an hour before using it. Lipo is great, but they are finicky for sure!

About all I can say is both are good. I prefer the atty's to be a bit higher ohms -- like 2.0 or 2.2, but like the 1.8 cartos.
Alot depends on which you prefer generally -- atty's or cartos. To me cartos are more mellow? Best is to try them both---easier to get to that $50 and free shipping, too!

I decided to try the 1.8 silos while I waited for the new atties to come in. Metered two of them at 2.1 and the third at 2.2. Taste is good for a carto though.

I've had my Vmod for about a week now. It's such a great pv, I can't wait to try it at 6 volts. I'm having one problem, not much throat hit. I'm using the 1.5ohm hybrid atty and I'm getting good flavor and stupid amounts of vapor (awesome!) but little to no throat hit. I use 18mg juice and on all my other devices I get a good TH, but no so much on my Vmod. Anyone else have this problem?

I have had some leaking, but I assume the new chassis will take care of that.

Edit: I love the 2.8 on my Ali"i and Little Brother VV and the 2.8 is great at 6 volts in the VMod. Can't wait for no leakage. I have been using without the shell and it leaks in the darnedest places. Very weird.
