Haven't attempted the catch cup yet.... maybe a dumb question:
the 1 "tall upper VMod O-ring" that came with the 'replacement kit: it shows it being placed ON the atty or silo- but is that the same as the one that (for me) is already inserted into the threaded section of the replacement VMod, correct? Or is this in addition to the one that is in the threaded area?

Got my new chassis, but really disappointed in the cup instructions.

Anyone have macro shots on how to best get that catch cup in there?

its a tricky SOB. had to use a dental pick and needle nose type tongs. folded it in half and smashed it down in there but it took forever to center the slit with the positive wire connection. so far its been working great!

Seems we all need a macro pic tutorial. I've spent way too much time trying to figure it out. I'd love to put the catch cup in there, but I just can't see the right way to do it.

Santa Rosa, CA the North Bay!
just traded on the classys for.a vmod today :))... should be here Tuesday and then I will be joining in on this happy thread....it should be the old chasis though :/ I put in a request for the new one but I didn't buy the vmod so idk if I can get one lol...maybe they will sell me one

I bought mine off of classy's, but the seller put in for a replacement for me, so I dunno. Maybe the person you did the trade with would b willing to do that?? It would ship to their address, but maybe they could get it shipped to your address. She got it today, so I'll get it next week. By then there will be easy peasy instructions w/pics for the catch cups :) :) :) !!!!!

Welcome to the vmod madness!!! :vapor: :vapor:

So... Some people might not like what I have to say, but, the new chassis doesn't vape as well as my old one does.

Much much less vapor production. Less flavor too. It's like the battery is weak (but they aren't because they are still kicking out hard on the original chassis)

I did notice that I can't blow through the top to the bottom easily at all with the new one like I could with the other one.
To help clarify that, if I tried to blow air from the top to the bottom with the chassis only, it is like something is blocking that air flow. I have no clue if that is intended at all.. But highly frustrating because I had high hopes for the new chassis to not leak anymore (it still does, which means I am overfeeding still). But mainly, the vapor and flavor production flat out stinks.

Am I missing something? Or doing something wrong?

From what people have told me, Brian is a good guy and cares... I know these things happen on the production line. It may be a dud... I hope he lives up to his rep.

I can attest to that as a fact. He is not only a good guy, but does truly care that we are vaping happily. I'm sure this will be taken care of, TheKeith.
