I hope your okay hairball!Surgery is no fun.

Keyz...I have a wrist injury (work related). I tore the crud out of it..pretty much everything in there you can think of without breaking a bone. I did it 6 months ago and the sons-a-guns are JUST NOW getting it fixed. It will be out patient surgery if everything goes well.

The first 5 weeks, they sent me to a nurse practioner who told me I had tendonitis, 2 weeks later told me I sprained it, 1 week later had himself convinced I broke it....hmmm... can anyone say IDIOT! I finally put my foot down with him and in a "very colorful way" told him that he needed to have his ability to medically treat people, revoked.

Then I went for an MRI and to see an orthopedic doctor who told me he couldn't help me. He referred me to a hand surgeon that I wouldn't take a dead dog too. Finally, my lawyer pushed to get me into the top hand surgeon in KS...yeah! I may actually get it fixed now but all this took 1 week shy of 6 months to accomplish.

I understand the stupid doctor problem.Mine kept telling me I had allergies, turned out after 3 MRIs I had a huge infection in my head and they had to remove tissue, muscle, and part of my skull bone. Then rebuild my complete inside ear with prosthetics.Surgeon said they could have killed me if it went on any longer.ALWAYS get another opinion and push them as hard as you can.I hope your surgery goes well and you heal quickly!(((Hugs!)))

I tried to take a pic of myself vaping the Vmod, but the vapor keeps messing up the shot! ;)

hairball and gel drops, please be careful of the metal dust. It's now being recommended to punch out holes rather than dremel them. Just a thought. We don't want you vaping metal junk!
And hairball, wishing you a speedy recovery from this upcoming surgery.

oldblue, what a lovely post. Happy vapes, good vapes, many vapes!

keyzygirl, yikes that sounds like it was quite an ordeal! So sorry!

AG, that pic is fantastic! Love it!!

Ok, gotta go play with my "seven" VMODS now ;)

After enjoying the BF hybrid atty's I decided to order a VMOD. Going to go back through this thread later and see any tips I can on how to use it correctly. I picked up a couple 1.8 Ohm BF atty's with it but did not see any cartos available when I ordered.

Seems to be a nice out and about, pocket friendly mod. Hopefully by end of week or next I can put it through its paces. :)

I posted instructions on feeding in post 254.
It's also noted in the tag cloud at the bottom of the page.

Congrats on the Vmod...it's a little vaping machine! :)

Uh-oh.... Guess what came in the mail today?! My brand spanking new silver vmod, hybrid atties, AND batteries/charger from another supplier. I'm soooo excited to use it but the batteries are still charging! How the heck long does it take to charge a freaking 14500? Can I at least try one of those batteries with the vmod even if it's not "fully" charged?

One other thing I just did...I rolled the battery in the charger and the light when from red to green, I did it again and it went back to red. Even pressing on the batteries changed the lights. Why's that?

Out of curiosity, what's the PG/VG ratio of the juice you were using? I'm getting nowhere near that cloud, even if i'm already satisfied.

That Vmod has Halo Torque 56 in it. I don't know the PG/VG. The Hybrid atty is 3 weeks old & the battery was about half charged.

Usually that means they are close to a full charge. Vape it! Don't forget both gaskets & to prime the new atty from the top as well as the bottom.
