2 x 14250's and a 2.8 silo carto is finally giving me a decent vape. still leaking a little from the crack, so I think once the new chassis comes out I'll be good....especially since I received 2.8 cartos instead of the 2.2's I ordered. Haven't heard back from vapage so I'm making lemonade out of lemons and trying to just use all dang 8 2.8 Silos I have...

I ordered my Vmod on Sunday. I've read a bunch of posts off of this thread. So here are my questions:

1. I'll be using the 1.5 hybrid bf attys...how long should I soak them before I vape? Also, by soak do you mean actually soaking it in juice or putting in a lot of juice and letting it sit.

2. How exactly do I fill the feed chamber? I've read a lot of different methods is there any consensus?

3. How often should I feed my atty? I take long, lazy drags.

Thanks for the info...I can't wait to vape on my Vmod and be an official member of the Vmod family,

#1 Some users have recommended 1/2 an hour. More or less depending on how anxious you are.
Soak means put a bunch of juice in them and let them sit---upright. (maybe 10 or more drops)

#2 Post 254 is the most discussed feed method and a good way to start, for sure.

#3 I can't answer that one for you----but every 2-3 few drags is common. Longer drags, more frequently.

My cat broke my vmod. Sigh. I found it on the bathroom floor the other morning, and I thought it looked weird, but being morning, wiped it off and proceeded to try to take a toot. It fried. Apparently the catch cup had sunk down in it and disconnected the wire that runs from the battery to the atomizer... then collapsed and broke off the spring when I tried to fire it. I'm back on the provape, and i'm not happy about it. I miss my little vmod.

No killing of the kitty is allowed. Sorry to hear this.

I temporarily fixed mine with super glue and so far haven't had any leaking. Tried it with the hybrid atty's and still can't do atty's. I'll save them for my mini reo (I hope they will work on it). Liking the silo's but my modded Boge LR better.

You do know about the issue with the Hybrids and the Reo, yes, hairball? Be careful not to over tighten them. The new Hybrids will not be an issue.

Yay for hairball ingenuity! Of course I won't kill my kitty. I totally heartiecakes her to pieces. I should have known better than to leave a mod full of AG's dream in reach. Even the cat couldn't resist it.

Have I told you guys that my son is now calling me his portable air freshener? That stuff smells amazing!

Sounds like you have a cracked chassis....email for a replacement along with the rest who have cracks.:2c:
We have to wait until the replacements are available in the USA...another week I think.

I used the attys on both grand and mini without any problems but the atty does not thread all the way in. Be sure you read Rob's statement about using these on his mods.....use your own risk and he will not do free repairs. IDK how he will feel about the new center post coming soon. I decided these attys were just too good to not use on all my mods and sold all 3 reos instead....how's that for a testimonial? Jeeze, a mod is just a batt & connection. The magic happens in the atty.

Hello and G'morning to our VMOD-ers and VMOD-ettes! I had a coffee catastrophe this morning. Someone forgot to put the basket in the coffee machine! Coffee grounds and coffee'd water EVERYWHERE. Talk about a leak. Would really make the juicy insides of the VMOD look like nothing!

So I got resourceful or inquisitive and tore apart the chassis that was sparking. I could see why easily enough, the wire that comes off the button and goes under the feed chamber had moved and I couldn't get it to go back no matter what I tried. But I wanted a better look at the feed chamber & how these could have a leak from a crack in the plastic. It had the crack, and was easy enough to open up from there.

Once I could see the whole chamber, I'm thinking...how??? I had juice between the chamber and the plastic on dismantling....why? So I fill bottle with water and start feeding. This is what I found....

If you look at yours there is an open space in the feed chamber. A wire goes across from the button and is bent up to what looks like a pin or valve. What gets fire to your atty I imagine. On mine it's that "valve" that leaks when overfeeding. Need to play some more:laugh:

Hope Brian, John, or Spencer are reading this and it can be a clue for them.
