got mine in! the new optional catch-cup is a (Female dog) to install. instructions say "it only takes a minute to install.." my .... hahaha. but now it works well!
the optional catch cup is a silicone like cup, looks the a carto condom cut down to size, goes underneath the atty connection and its difficult to line up the slit that must be cut with the battery connection wire.

You're a braver man than I, johnny. I haven't even attempted the catch cup procedure. I read the instruction sheet and then thought (blank it), I just want to vape on this thing NOW! Tossed on the new 1.5 BF atty and I'm already getting into nic coma. It is ABFAB!
I did notice one thing initially. The cone will not screw down all the way without over tightening it. This leaves a bit of play between the cone and the body, and a subsequent bit of a rattle. It may settle in with use tho.

Would it be possible to get some sort of o-ring and put it on the cone to eliminate the rattle?
No vmod for me today. The state offices closed at 3:00 EST and my mail doesn't come until after 4 so it looks like I won't see mine until after the storm.
It seems to be working its way into place. I think I spoke hastily. If anyone else has that issue, it seems to be a non-issue after a couple of on/offs.

Ordered on the 23rd. Batteries should be here tomorrow. Extra atties and cartos appeared to have shipped yesterday (25th). Vmod is still showing processed w/ no shipping info. Looks like it's not going to be a VMod weekend. Guess Irene will have to be the highlight of my weekend......

Mine came in First Class mail------from the next county. So, schedule your stalking times accordingly.
And, it's prettier than the pics -- had to inspect in good light to find the "pin" area as they finished it off really well---but it is there!
