The new visible little O ring is great for me, too. Nice to not have a wet atty when it's time to change batts/juice.

Proax -- I do see what you say. You gotta keep them wet. The 2.8's certainly have more flavor---they were just a little too cool for me.

My first carto lasted days and then I had a sprint where I was killing all carto's (and atty's) in all my arsenal with various PV's------But, at long last I just had a "dream silo carto" that lasted a week of good volume again. It seemed like I had to break it in? Let it sit for a day and when I came back it was so very nice. I've never heard that about a carto, tho one member mentioned letting these soak a bit. I think the wires are a bit thicker than other's I've ripped apart---so a bit of soak could handle the "metal" taste perhaps? Anyone know?

Also, I was doing some history reading and it was said that the Vmod was originally designed for direct vape----(like an analog). Even though I've almost forgotton how -- I gave it a try. It's true. This set up can certainly handle direct vape.

Glad to hear about the metering, proax. I've heard all the silo's are tested on those huge machines in China before they are shipped.

I think I heard that there will be other OHMs coming out in carto's too, so have no idea of when.

And, you might want to try the 2.5 BF atty's. Once one get's down the feed it is pretty easy to switch to atty. You just have to feed more frequently. After my recent days with a great carto I just switched back to atty -- and doing fine.

Yes, but I didn't reflect that in my post- 0.5 from leads- so
2.0 Silo is 2.0: V4L is 2.2

I've tried bottom fill, top fill, both. If the combination of LR and my juice was the issue- you would think both the Silo and v4L would taste bad..? Or even the V4L (2.2 actual) at 5v, which is simply too hot, but not bad tasting. I guess I'll stick with the 2.8 Silos and mod more of my other LR cartos to be BF.

Atta girl. Just did mine too! It wouldn't fire because I must have pushed the wire too low. Pushed it back up and it works just fine again.

What drip tips are people using? I am not too fond of some of the ones I use ATM.

I like a wider mouth and hate getting juice back into my mouth (kat, have a field day with that one), so something that really let's the juice down into the atty.

Almost killed the 12ml bottle of it that I ordered. Very good juice and quite thin for the Organic VG. Still not leaking in the new chassis either.
