Thanks for your comment AG. At least I know that I am not just being a straight up, impatient b**tard. Well, maybe I am, but not on everything.

I feel your pain.If I could have helped I would. I hate FEDEX and UPS. If I have the option I always use USPS as they deliver on Sat and leave it in my mail box.Nothing to sign no fuss no muss ! Besides they seem very fast compared to above.Good luck to you.

Hope to mod my own carto's after the 2 Silos burn out. Also want spare o rings and bottles in the future.

Wow. Frickin' awesome!

My post was ignored here as much as my suggestion to vapage.com customer service.

Lesson learned.

I doubt your post was ignored, a911. I think this is one you need to direct to Brian/Vapage directly. We would help if we could, but as AG said, most of us might not know what to say. I'm sure that's not a great response to your post, sorry. Please let us know what info you get from Vapage on the shipping.

AG, Para, anybody :)... Could someone pls explain where you put an o-ring on the bottle for xtra stability? And what size I need?? Just took my body off to change bottle and bottle was ....-eyed and was all wet behind it. It is obviously leaking from the bottle as the threads were soaked in juice also... I'm thinking the o-ring would help here. I'm just a visual kinda learner, thx for any and all help :) :)

I put an O-ring on my bottle for the support, as Para suggested. It seems to me that it has to be placed at the bottom of the threads of the bottle. I don't see anywhere else it could go, but I could be wrong. :) So far mine has been completely leak free and the bottle does have more stability with the O-ring.

Tea and I discussed the leaking issues a bit. We both seem to think that it's a question of over feeding this mod. Unlike other BFs like the Reo, for example, you can not HEAR the squonk or the squeeze of the juice all the time. You can't always hear a gurgling in the atty, so therefore it may be that some of us are over feeding the chamber and the atty. The juice has to go somewhere!

I'm sure the new batts, the 14505 will be available soon thru Vapage. (Has anyone tried using two of these batts in the Vmod. Protected CR2/15266/15270 Li-Ion Battery, 3 Volts, 800 mah? Our friend in Italy who bought 2 Vmods while here bought these to use. He said they are tight, but work well. Just curious.)

I think Vapage will be carrying all the spare parts we need soon. I know you can order the seal kit (O-rings), and my guess is that the bottles might be available soon too? I know someone else posted about additional bottles... vikki?

Hope to mod my own carto's after the 2 Silos burn out. Also want spare o rings and bottles in the future.

I had modded a DC carto as per (?Hairball's?) method of using a dremel cutting wheel. It was working 'OK'- but it can be tricky getting the juice high enough into the carto without creating leaks: due to it's almost 2x the length of a silo. I had better luck with a LP std size carto. Also- tolerances are so fine- if the carto is anything other than SS with no label / black wrap on it- the cone will not fit over it.

That was UNTIL the replacement / upgraded upper O-Ring: the one that goes over the body of the carto. For some reason, with the newer o ring- when you screw the cone on- it presses the o ring down OVER the slots cut at the bottom of the carto- which cuts off any chance of feeding the carto.

If anyone comes up with a way to drill really really really small holes into a carto- let me (us) know! (Note the emphasis on REALLY SMALL:laugh:)

Shipping aside, I'm loving my VMod and thinking about another one or two. I'm a fan of not switching bottles for other flavors, but like having 2-3 flavors at the ready for variety throughout the day.

I'm going to stop by a local "surplus" store.... The kind that has a little bit of everything. I might get lucky and find extra some plastic bottles that work!!

Did I mention that I like the VMod better than my wife's REO? Maybe I'm nuts :)

I sold my Reo because of the VMod!!! So no, you're not nuts!

I don't think your nuts. :)

I've owned just about every feeder on the market & the Vmod rates with the best of them.

The potential for this device has been there since the beginning. These slight tweaks & improvements have made it a serious contender.

Did someone say 18650 Vmod? ;)

Define "really small".....drill sets come with 1/32 bits and you can find 1/64 with some searching

On shipping, all my Vapage packages(6) have arrived USPS. No idea why some would go ground:(

On drilling small holes, maybe a jewelers set?

On selling reos, I sold all of mine after getting my first Vmod. :) Love the compact size, weight is significantly lighter, and the hybrid in a feed chamber is a total WIN. The blame game on the hybrids didn't set very well IMO. Hits off a Vmod vs a mini seemed more powerful to me and ejoker mentioned the internal resistance is lower on our little gems. Can hardly wait for the 18650 Vmod. ;-) I'm glad the leak issues have been discovered on the 14500 and imagine the first 18650 will have an awesome beta release. :)

In these tough economic times it is great to see companies targeting the new vaper (or the experienced that can't afford mod collections) with a reasonable price point, good product, and ease of use. The high end mods companies have been going like wild fire. It's past time for companies like Vapage to storm the scene. Just saying......

I would say 1/32 would be OK- but smaller would be better.
I do not have a drill press- so trying to keep the bit from sliding across the carto while drilling through SS is almost impossible (for me). That's why I went with the dremel grinder-

I think feeding is definitely one of the tricks with this. My only other feeder is a Revolution V2, and that one you have to give it a pretty solid squeeze. The VMOD needs a much more gentle hand. My best results come when gently and steadily pressing it to feed, same when tipping it back upright and squeezing to push the juice into the atty. A little dry draw helps too.
