I saw the VMod on their website for the first time in April, but I believe it came out in May. This thread was started less than a month later. I remember wishing it had lower ohm cartos & wondering if they would come out with an atomizer. There were a couple of naysayer threads about the proprietary cartos at first. Having COV carry the Hybrids was a great move towards alleviating supply worries. I'm thinking that the VMod will probably be available in many more places once the full battery kits & accessories become available. This is something I see being available at the corner drugstore...Vapage juice & replacement parts too. I think it's going to be big! :)

Another musing on the BF hybrid attys. I have found they do not hold a flavor tenasiously like other attys I have used. I found my all day vape about 2 months ago but it can get tiresome. I like to drip a different flavor at times to wake my taste buds and when I do, the dripped flavor does not hang in for hours. I really like that!

I over heard my E-power and Boge Lea discussing a plan to assassinate of my Vmod. Seems they are getting tired of just sitting around the house all day while my Vmod goes everywhere with me. I have a safehouse for my Vmod but, I am worried about it when we are out in public. Anybody know where I can get a kevlar vest for my Vmod?

I finally did it today! I ordered the vmod; bf Atties at 1.5 and 2.0 ohms; 3 1450 aw imr's and a wf-188 charger. All in all it cost about $120 shipped, which is acceptable considering I ordered 7 items from 4 different vendors. Now I start stalking the mail man until he brings me my ish. Glad I'm in SoCal though, the vmod should be here by Monday or Tuesday =]

I don't have a source for Kevlar, but some camo might be in order. ;)

Congratulations! :thumb:

The one-stop-shopping should be at Vapage around Vape-fest time. It's going to be nice to send people to just one place for everything they need.

He, he. I think my ziricote RSM might be plotting too. Too nice and a bit large to pop in my pocket and go. It' more of a coffee table/desk mod. With all my Vmods, I have reserved one shell for banging about.

I would say 1/32 would be OK- but smaller would be better.
I do not have a drill press- so trying to keep the bit from sliding across the carto while drilling through SS is almost impossible (for me). That's why I went with the dremel grinder-

A hypo needle is a good way to stabilize the bit when drilling. Use one with a slightly larger ID than the bit to make the jig. But, bits break and get dull so punching the hole is a better way. Here's a carto jig I made from brass/copper tubing, a atomizer connector, and a steel rod. Screw the carto into place and whack the punch where the cutout is located. The hole is clean (no drilling debris) and there's nothing to break or wear out.

Same hole...same place....every time
Hope this helps

On their site they say if you send them your old stuff you can get 50% off a vapage v-mod?
Am I reading this wrong or is this correct?

Umm...that may or may not be true.
They are kind of unclear.
You should call them and see what they say.
I think it's a gray area.
Originally, I think it was 50% off the cig2o kits, but some may have gotten them to make an exception...

To me it reads pretty clear "Mail in your other brand eCigs and we will email you with a 50% discount on a brand new VAPAGE or CIG2o PRO KIT".... It says send them a "KIT" and receive 50% off a "KIT".... The current Vapage Vmod offering is not a "KIT" it is Al a Carte.....

I think some have called and argued that the wording was confusing and talked their way into a really good deal that they should not be entitled to for an awesome PV that is very inexpensive with current code offerings....

Phrasing could be better by saying "Vapage KIT or CIG2o KIT" and A la Carte could be more pronounced on the Vmod page....

Just my :2c:
