Put the o-ring on the bottle and it stays tight and does not leak

vmodbottle.jpg

Maybe Vapage will include an o-ring or two w/ the spare bottles. hint. hint, wink.......

Little update on HV vaping experience so far....
The 14250's charge in about a hour to an hour and a half for me on a cheap 350mah charger. I have to stack 4 pennies together for the batt to fit the charger but it works fine.
They seem to last about 3 hours...I'm checking the clock this time so I can be more accurate on how long they last.
I didn't modify any atties or cartos to use on the Vmod. Right now I'm using a standard 3 ohm carto from boge, I think. All atties and cartos I've tried seem to work fine. Just be sure you transfer an 'O' ring to the carto or atty before screwing it in or it leaks big time, then make sure you don't screw it down too tight or it won't feed.
The nicest thing about HV vaping with the Vmod is that you only take a one to two second 'drag' to get a lung full of heavy, warm vapor and a mouthful of wonderful flavors you can roll around on your tongue as you exhale. Much like an analog.
You are no longer 'sucking' for 5 to 10 seconds for satisfaction.
Quick hit and enjoy.
Instant on...instant warm...instant vapor.

Ahhhhhh!!!! You guys are making me crazy!! I'm sitting here vaping on my Elite 808 just dreaming of that glorious day when my Vmod arrives in the mail. I am going to be doing some serious mailman stalking. No doubt about it.

Oh, I know I am!! I'm so freakin' excited!

The Elite is a decent KR808. The battery life seems a bit longer than most 808's, and it does produce more vapor than others. I also really like the cartos they send with the kit. They do have filler (which usually bothers me) but they're easy to fill because they're of a bigger circumference than other 808 models. The little 'blingy' button is also pretty badass...for girls, anyway. ;) Overall? I like it.

Now, back to the Vmod. :)

No leaks at all but my bottle is not very straight in the mod anyone else?

All 4 of mine are straight. Suggestion. Remove your bottle. Does the lower seal come out with it? If so, don't worry. Mine do. The one and only time I had any leakage was when it stayed in place and I screwed the bottle back in. I now seat it properly on the bottle top after wiping it down and no leaks.

Looks like the #6 o-ring is the correct size for the bottles. It's a little tight going on but, it seems to be the right one. I think the problem is a plastic bottle w/ plastic threads screwing into a metal cup w/ metal threads. If you cross-thread it one time it's done. I had a bottle that was not straight. Took it off and put it back straight but, it seemed to move back to the crooked position after some use. Could be from cross-threading or maybe putting on too tight..........

EDIT AFTER SEVERAL HOURS TESTING.....

SCRATCH THE #6 IT DOESN'T ALLOW THE BOTTLE TO SEAL OFF IN THE CUP. Testing the #7 out, it sits on the shoulder of the bottle instead of the neck, seems to allow the bottle to seal off in the cup..............

I like the idea of adding the #6 O-rings to the seal kit, and/or having them as an option with additional bottle purchases on Vapage.

Happy Vapes, VMODian fam!

I hope you charged your batteries!

Congrats! :)

Thanks, Almighty!! Yes, I've already made sure my batts are charged, and I've been happily vaping away on this thing at my desk!! I cannot believe the vapor production!!

The only bummer so far was that my 2 silos don't fire. Nothing. The hybrid atties do, though...I just have to break them in.

Could it be my two 3.2 Volt 14250's?
