enV, it could be over-tightening, or it could be the seal in the connector threads. If the seal in the upper part (connector threads, not the inner bottle area) is covering the juice ingress, you will not feed properly. Check the seal and see if it's loose. If so, turn it inside out (hugs, AG) and reinsert it. Think mechanical. Vape emotional.
Thanks Kat, after inspecting a little bit, it seems like the seal/o-ring on the connector threads is partially blocking the feed holes on the atomizer - I am using the hybrids from COV and not the ones from Vapage, are they different?
I have flipped it inside out but its about the same (visually) the o-ring seems to block about half of the feed hole. Any insight would be appreciated guys
She means the upper seal/gasket. The one that slides down over the carto or atomizer. The o-ring on the connector should be fine as long as you don't over tighten the carto/atty.
Try a snug fitting condom to the atty and make a tad shorter one by snipping off the top of the condom.
My son had a similar problem & that fixed it.
enVmy are you using the new seal ring from the seal kit.... Also are you first putting it around the atty/carto before screwing on the cone...
Received my new chassis for #2 VMod and a couple 1.5 Attys to sort out my dilemma with my latest order. Life is Vmod good now.

Excellent and thourough review of an excellent PV.
I still say that the Vmod will feed standard 510 or HR 510 attys and cartos because that is how I have used it for 6V vaping. I transfer the 'O' ring to my HR atty (4.5 ohm) or HR carto and then after I screw it into the Vmod I back it off 'just a hair'.
I've had no problem feeding the regular styled attys or cartos 'sans venturi' and have been doing it for 3 days now.
WOW, the Vmod will really spoil you for anything else

Hi Scot, yes, that is how I am doing it and I cant seem to get it right. I am at work right now and dont have much juice with me, plus I am using the hybrid attys from COV. When I get home tonight I am going to try out the silo cartos that came with the vmod and report back. I am a little bummed but i have a feeling it might be due to user error. haha, talk about 1st world problems
Put the upper gasket on after you screw in the atty. The cone will push it into the correct spot. If it's a hair too long, you can cut it to fit.
You said you are using the Hybrid Attys from COV..... Then that is your problem even though you have the bottom feeders those are for other types of bottom feeders not the Vmod.... You need the AMG Hybrids from Vapage to feed correctly...
COV carries the AMG BF Hybrids (silver connection) and the AMG Universal Hybrids (gold connection).
The BF Hybrids are what work on the Vmod.
AH HA! I told you, user error, lol. thanks for the help guys, I somehow thought they were one and the same after seeing the $5 price tag on it, too good to be true. Well, I'll just use the Silos until I order some of the amg atties. Thanks again everyone

Env -- Baths have become a popular feed fix for the Vmod. They have been almost magical on occasion!
There just could be some manufacturing debris in there blocking the channel.
And, EnV --- The atty's you got from COV are for the Vmod --- if you got the BF ones. (all silver)
The Universals have the gold band on them and don't have the feeding slots.
