So has anyone had problems with the 1.5Ω AMGs popping coils. My third one just died :( I had one from COV and 2 I got with the V-mod. Now one of them was me being stupid, but the other two just up and went out on their own. I hadn't heard many reports on this thread, so I'm not sure if I'm just unlucky or something is up.

The immediate question is about how wet they were, but I have a feeling you're going to tell us they were soaked correctly, right? I doubt it's a question you being unlucky tho. There's a reason but it's just unknown at this moment. Were you using these on the VMOD or another device? If the VMOD, were you using the 14500 batt?

Yeah the one I pretty much broke because I was screwing around with it was on a ProVari. But... the other two, both on the V-MOD 14500 IMR batts. Actually I may have had the regular ol' trustfire when the first one went. Anyway, cruising along for days then, nothing. Check it on the 'vari's resistance meter, open circuit. Same with this last one tonight, after about 4-5 days of use I'd guess.

I've had good luck with the hybrids.
My originals are all still working.

That's good, mostly I just wanted to make sure this wasn't a big QC issue I ran into literally hours after I released a review saying how great they were :) That's happened to me before, no fun :)

Yeah, I fried one, but I'm at 6.4 volts presently (2 3.2 14250's), until I get my 14500's in the mail. Right now I have a 2.8 on this sucker and it's too hot, but I'm making it work by feeding it juice every other drag. It's ridiculous, I know, and this thing is a little juice-eating monster right now, but I don't care. I'm willing to sacrifice the juice. ;)

Thanks! And I'm a chain vaper too. I wonder if there's something in that, maybe something with heat build up in the steel mesh or something? Can't really feel the atty in use since the cone's around it.

Evening Vmodders and welcome to all the new family members here! GREAT REVIEW!

Sent a Vmod to Singapore yesterday :)

On 1.5 ohm attys, I didn't have great luck but could be my vaping style....choo, choo!

I had similar experiences with the 1.5s, FWIW.

These 2.2 Ohm Silo carto's are rather surprising. Bit cool vapor but a whole lot of it. Looking down into it, looks like a horizontal coil as well.

My order was slightly wrong, instead of 1.8 Ohm Silo's I got two old 1.8 BF atty's. No biggie though. Gonna keep em for rotation and ordered three packs of 1.8 Silo's. Just hope I get the carto's this time. :) Should give vapor just the right kick to be about perfect compared to the 2.2 I'm using now.
