Thanks I'll do more cold vapes between squeezes to see if that lessens the problem. I do appreciate that his mod is so easy to clean. A quick run under the faucet is all it takes. Thank you for your he1p.
PS. I remember the days on old typewriters when you had to use the small l for a 1.
I would recommend vaping most of the juice after feeding.
The less you leave inside the atty, the less the catch cup is needed.
The seal above the threads is probably not the culprit.
The upper seal should be cleaned with soap and water and allowed to dry completely.
If it gets wet with juice, it can slip down and cover the feed holes, causing it to feed behind the seal.
This usually results in juice coming from around the atty.

I ordered at 23:55 on the 9th in case the code expired at midnight on the 10th. The two I ordered are supposed to be here tomorrow. Pretty fast, I'd say. But now this talk of leaks is scaring me, just when I lost another eGo battery, and both my wife's 510 batteries are failing, it's down to seeds and stems as it were, I was REALLY counting on the VMODs. So GrimmGreen wasn't entirely off base, huh? If that thing leaks ONCE all over my wife's hands, she'll REJECT it. Know what I mean? You know how hard it is to reverse an acquired prejudice? There's GOT to be a fix ...

Welcome JJ and Fernand...I had delays in getting batteries as everyone knows, but as I said last week Brian sent me a care package overnight I got it Friday......I now have 2 Vmods!!! Dude is awesome!!....on to the details.. I had to work nights over the weekend..(12 hr rotating shifts 7 to 7)
I first used the one that I had to put seals in with a hybrid ...it did great until about 2 am I checked and had a little leak coming from the catchcup area. I cleaned it set it aside and the next night I used the chassis that Brian sent with seals and cc already installed with a silo and BWB malty toffee and not a drop of leakage.
So sunday night I got really brave (only had 2 Batts) and took both chassis and my learning curve for squirshing is pretty fast evidently ......been using both for 2 days straight and no leaks.....btw the woody is kickin' some VPL GBC.
And on another good note the other batteries and charger actually showed up so now I have 4 batteries!
So If you are squirshing too much like I was on friday ITS GONNA LEAK ....so be careful it doesn't take much.

I just got through a half a bottle without leaking taking tierrataz's advise of flipping the bottom white gasket (I know she meant the other one, but that one wasn't a problem), being a lot less aggressive on the bottle squeezes, and taking a good cold drag and another quick hot hit before I tipped and refueled to make sure the atty was as empty as possible. I think the cold drag sucking up the excess juice is the trick that's doing it.
Fingers crossed, seems to be working. Now I just have to work this into a pattern so I can do it without thinking.

Yes and Fernand what leakage I did have never came to the outside of the Vmod stayed inside and I never knew it was leaking until I took it apart.

Yep, Fernand, she won't have to worry about it leaking onto her hands. Unless she's squirshing that bottle like an Italian mama squirshes your face, there shouldn't be any juice leaking outside of the device.

BTW, friends...I purchased the woody case for my little guy. I thought about the baby pink, but realized that it'd probably get all scratched up like the stock one I have now. (I tend to throw it in my handbag without really thinking.) Should be here today or tomorrow.

They don't give you a tracking number. So I called to request one. That way I can do the usual thing of checking status every 15 minutes ;-). Doesn't look good. It was still in SoCal, got through sort in Santa Clarita as of 9:23 last night. It's about a 6 hour drive to NorCal if you use the accelerator pedal, so drive, drive, Mr Mailtruck, and you can still make it Out For Delivery today!
@pheisty, do the solid colored finishes scratch very easily ? Maybe spray with lacquer to protect? Is the black a tougher finish? Which ones are rubberized?

I have the black and keys in the pocket will scratch it. Mine is 1 month old and really shows the wear ! If buying again I would get the silver.

I have ordered a couple of both and both scratches if kept in pocket with keys or similar.
Mine are black and it looks like new but I never put it in a pocket with other stuff.
The graphic ones are rubberized.
That's too bad, they could have used a different finish. Gonna have to do something about that. Anybody know what the cheapest and toughest clear coat in a small can is?

Yes, unfortunately, for me they do. But I'm sorta hard on stuff. I think maybe you could use what I use on my dolls to set and protect their faces...Mr. Super Clear Glossy. Mr. Super Clear is great for putting a protective finish on model cars and things of that nature, so I'm sure it would work on the Vmod bodies. I think I bought my last can of it for around $8.
I don't have a black Vmod, but I think it's rubberized.
