Hi, I just received my new VMod and I think there may be a problem with the firing button/spring? It wont turn off properly and feels kinda like the spring is grinding? also when I press down on it it feels very loose like I have to really press to get it to fire? Has anyone else had any similar problems?
Thanks

Are you using the Vapage batteries by any chance? this is the issue when using the Vapage batteries. there's 2 solution to this. you either put the battery upside down. in my case I use an o-ring as a spacer between the nipple and the firing plate.

I've switched between an AWIMR14500 and an UltraFire 14500, my problem doesn't seem the same as the previous poster. Mine just won't fire at all. I just tried the upside down battery trick and that didn't work. Everything seems to be making contact where it should...

See if the wire is connected under the connector. It's the most common place for a circuit interruption.

Try plugging a different atty/carto and see if it fires. Just to eliminate the atty/carto causing this not to fire.

I've tried several cartos and even a couple of 510s. All the wires/connections look good...very strange. It fired the first few times I tried it, then I disassembled it, then reassembled it and then it wouldn't fire. I've had it apart several times, but I'm not seeing what I've done wrong....argh!

EDIT: Aha! Just as AG suggested. The wire under the connector wasn't touching, should that be soldered? Seems very easy to knock that wire loose. Thanks for the help everyone!!
