The best way to inhale. With analogs I had a weird way of inhaling, I drew the smoke into my mouth then when I took the cigarette away from my mouth I inhaled into my lungs. That method doesn't seem to work as well with the volt. I tried a different way, letting air pass through my lips as I inhale on the volt, but I think that was sucking to hard on it because my throat burned quite a bit. Also I can't inhale very long, probably due to years of smoking.

So whats the best way to inhale to get most satisfaction/vapor production?

I smoked the same way. Before coming to this forum, I had no idea people inhaled differently! On my Volt, I take longer, slower drags than I did on a cigarette. Probably about five to six seconds. I use the automatic batteries so it hit the cut-off every once in awhile, but it's not a big deal to me. I still do the fill my mouth than inhale thing.

I've seen some people do a couple of "primer" puff with auto batteries. That is take two cigarette like puffs and then the long drag, but I haven't found it necessary myself. I say keep puffing and you'll probably just naturally fall into your sweet spot.

Havent got my Volt yet, but if it works like other vaporizers. Try ch-effing it, just suck smoke into your mouth, then start slowly inhaling, while in inhaling part you lips and shoot out little bit of smoke, then keep inhaling, then shoot out a little bit, keep doing this until you lungs are completely full of vapor, then exhale. Takes a little bit to get use too, but once you got the hang of it you should be exhaling huge plumes of vapor at the end. Hope this helps.

I haven't hit the cutoff on my Auto's yet, but I do hit it quite fast with the Manual.
If you're hitting the cutoff:
Take a slow draw, release button, release some vapor through the nostrils.
As you're releasing through the nostrils, hit the button and vape in some more.
Release button, inhale and exhale.

(easier done than said)

The most satisfactory way is with manuals. You press the button in 1-2 seconds before starting to drag (so some nice vapor is already made and waiting for you), drag slowly, letting up the button just before the end of your drag, then inhale.

Since Volt and actually most KR808D-1's have a 5-second safety cutoff, I limit my early press to 1 second early so I have 4 seconds to drag because 3 seconds is a bit short even for my small mouth. With the V4L manuals (a KR808d-1 with custom 10-13 second cutoff) I can use a 2 second+ early press and have plenty of time left to drag.

With 5-second autos I have to take 2 drags into my mouth in a row and then inhale. I think manual is less work.

I do the same as many have mentioned, first fill with vapor then inhale. The only other way I can describe my method is "low and slow". I'm not sure how to really explain the "low" part but I sorta let the vapor roll around on my tongue if that makes any sense...probably not haha.

I will say if you are using SI's prefilled they are mostly PG and have quite a lot of throat hit, so when I started on those I didn't take nearly as long as a draw. Though I do still love the menthol for a quick knock your socks off, blow your hair back type throat hit. lol.
