the waiting is the hardest part

if i had ordered friday it would have been here today i bet...sigh...but i did end up changing my order a little...

so i ordered my new kit yesterday and i got an email telling me that it shipped today with the confirmation number...but when i go to the usps site it says its has no record of that package. WHAT?? is this like, really bad? should i email V4L?

and do they ship stuff out of illinois there? b/c i am next door in indiana...

LOL CAN IT PLEASE JUST GET HERE NOW

It sometimes takes a while for the shipping info to show up on the V4L site or USPS site. I have had my order arrive before they updated! Welcome to the Family Sweet black Kitten

Yes, the tracking often doesn't get updated in a timely manner. I live in Iowa and have always received my order within two days of placing it with the exception of the Holiday mail traffic.

USPS is terrible about updating their tracking, like MK I have actually received my order before their system has even noted it. Don't worry, it's on the way if V4L has says it has shipped. When you call USPS, expect them to say, "Well if it isn't in our system we have no way track it even if you currently have a tracking number. Is there anything else I can assist you with today?"

One would think they are looking at a different screen that we are on their site, but I think it's the same. Not only that, but many times I've found that it never hits the system in Illinois and only shows up after it has been scanned to my local hub in Boise.

The order I received on Friday never did hit the USPS website, You can still go to the website and it isn't listed. USPS I think hasn't got the whole tracking idea unless you pay extra money for the detailed tracking.

thank you guys so much. this morning the site says "Electronic Shipping Info Received" but thats it lol! so at least i know the package exists to the usps so thats something to chew on while i wait..
