On 3/2/11 My daughter's 18th birthday I bought my last pack of cigs. But it was'nt the last time I smoked. There were still cig buts all over the place & people to bum off of. It wasn't till after smokeing every last but I could find to the filter & feeling like a a mooch that I bought my 1st starter kit at the mall on 3/10/11.
I feel that I because of the nastiness of the taste of the cig buts I smoked to get just a bit of nicotine fix, and the embarrassment I felt bumming smokes. I was THRILLED to have a delivery system that not only tasted better than the buts I was smoking & felt proud to be near the people who told me to just buy a pack, & having no desire to bum, my transition to vapeing was made easily.
This is what i suggest to do for anyone who is interested in trying quite smoking using vapeing as a means to help with the withdraws.
It worked for me who (no Lie) smoked my 1st cig at age 7, & by 14 had my parents permission to smoke, & smokeing a pack a day. By age 43 i smoked 2 1/2 to 3 packs daly.
Please share your story into vapeing.
Thanks 4 reading.

A year and two weeks ago I bought my first ecig because I didn't like coughing, smelling, burning holes in things, money (say it's not so all you want, but I save money now that I broke even I vape for like 15 bucks a month) etc. etc.
I smoked my last cig and threw the rest away. I never looked back. My fiance got one two days after me. It really helps to surround yourself with nonsmokers. Same is true with ANY drug or addiction. You have to WANT IT and surround yourself with people that don't share your addiction. Her and I just really got into DIY, trying different atomizers and liquids, etc. Now we stick to just a few flavors and DIY. We found what works for us and last time I tried a cig I was craving my ecig!
Life's much better and so is my health. I can run faster, wake up quicker, sleep better, my sex life is WAY better, and I can think clearer!
Vaping is grand and the FDA can suck it!

My last pack of analogs - the "emergency pack" - lasted three weeks in my backpack. Finally just threw it away. And it's not just 'smoke' that I'm sick of, but even tobacco flavored juices. They just aren't doing it for me (save for Cuban flavor, that's really tasty). Looking forward to eventually getting to 0mg of nicotine and finally quitting altogether.

Maybe its because I wanted to quit smoking and did so cold turkey, but on day three was dying for a smoke. I picked up a cheap (well, not so cheap in price) pv at a convenient store and that held me over until I found what I really wanted. I havent wanted a smoke since that third day. It doesnt even bother me to be around smokers. I found this forum AFTER I bought the cheapie and the people here are great!

Congrats and stick with it. You'll end up like all of us here...addicted to vaping instead of addicted to smoking!
