Really?? I thought it was way over the top...considering you can just buy attys for 5 bucks and they last for a month..... Forever may be too strong of a word for longevity of this thing.... but upwards of 50k hours of use at the current watt density (3.7v 5w)
I haven't tested yet with 7.4v yet.... I'm kinda scared at what would happen to a cart at 14 watts.....
The thing about atties is that a lot of people are just the same as me and don't claim on the guarantee's, and it's not exactly unusual to have atties DOA or else only last a day or two and all that kind of thing soon rockets the cost of atties. I think that's why everyone is always screaming for a more reliable one, but I guess I have to admit I would be very reluctant to buy one for 100 dollars unless it was pretty certain that it 'would' last for a very long time. I guess I would have to claim on the guarantee if I spent that much money on one.
