Hmmmmm. Call Roto-Rooter! lol

Maybe I should give them a call.:D

Not to detract from this device. I'm telling you now. When new, you can not complete a vape from this without giving up before pressing the button all the way down. Trust me it is very intense. This is why I'm searching for a cure to it's ailments.

I have NO idea what you are talking about as far at the atty and other stuff in this thing, but everyone else swears by PGA to clean their atty's OR higher voltage. Perhaps you need to hook this thing up to a batt mod LOL! I dunno. I finally got mine in today, haven't opened them up yet though.

I live in a lame ... state no PGA available here. Closest I can do is vodka and it's not doing the trick.

I am awaiting your trial review. :D

HOLY $&@*&#$()*% BATMAN! 8-o

Me thinkith mint chocolate chip was the wrong flavor to start out with. I'll be lucky if my voicebox still works tomorrow LOL!

Should've went for something a little more mellow perhaps.

And forget about direct inhaling! OMG!

However, my sinuses are now minty fresh. :)

Exactly. Now you know what I'm saying.

After using it for a while (a week) it will mellow out and you'll say OMG this thing is perfect, where have you been all my life?

Then after about another week you'll say WTF where's my vapor?:-x
I tried connecting the heater/atomizer directly to a variable output power supply to burn the clogged stuff out of the tube. As I was cranking up the voltage I noticed the metal tube began glowing red. I was at 14V and almost 4 amps. Damn thing is still clogged. Think I'll give it another try this weekend and maybe put some crest mouthwash in there and give it a good squeeze while the temperature is up high (wearing a fire suit and goggles LOL).

LOL! DO be careful!

I do think that maybe Clumsy is onto something with cleaning it periodically...I have done it successfully with my atty's, and haven't lost one yet. Of course, it's only been a month that I've been using them...but I think preventative maintenance is worth a try rather than waiting for the thing to clog up. And, if it doesn't work...then I have another one to break in. :)

Yes I agree running some type of cleaner through there once in a while is a good idea. I have 5 more waiting to be opened... well 4 now since the clog. I was running a couple ml of just 80 proof vodka through it every 3 days or so but I guess that isn't good enough. I'll need to get some of that Everclear PGA next time I visit PA.

I'm wondering if these are not all built exactly the same.. as far as glass diameter and clearance between the metal tube and the glass tube. I would be interested to hear from some of the others that have this. SurfVortex where are you? I know natura has one but I don't think she has tried it yet.

A friend gave me a bottle of Spirytus Grain Neutral Spirits a couple years ago, purchased locally. It's only 151 proof, but I think this is as close to PGA as we can get in NY. I remember seeing what I thought was PGA in a duty free shop at the Can/US boarder but it's been years since I've been there.

Hi Ya Charged-
You are correct. I just ordered a bunch of stuff from MV so maybe that will help. I bought this thing to mod it anyway. Unfortunately (?) local paper called and asked when my web site was going to be done, since they wanted to do a feature on me. BUT time keeps flying by!

I didn't hear if you tried the dry burn method for cleaning??

Hope all is well in your neck of the woods : )

Hey natura, yes tried that and no didn't work. Hope the paper thing goes well for you.

Filled the liquid chamber with distilled vinegar and set it upside down in a glass filled with vinegar so the liquid is above the clogged section. Will let it soak overnight and see if that does anything.

After 2 hours of soaking it actually looks like it's doing something. I can see small black particles in the bottom of the glass.

Been very crabby about this clogging thing.....Really busy ,too. Anniversarys, Birthdays, Stoopid Hallmark holidays; are all clustered in the month of Feb.!
I just recently clogged-up my first device. Tried vodka after distilled water did nothing. Clogged. But, I have been using VG/tobacco homebrew exclusively, except for the first run w/'super fluid'. Made sure it(homebrew) was thin, and boy-howdy-Best Vape EVER!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing.
After it clogged, however, I noticed some serious black goo where the metal tube meets the glass tube on the atty. I just assumed that I was paying for my sins against the Wizard by getting it gunked-up.
If the team can come up with a way to clean it, I'll be forever grateful. Going to continue experiments.......

Charged-Did you get my PM?

Yes SV I received the PM thank you.

It appears some WIZARDRY has occured during the evening hours.
The completely clogged Wizard has returned to service.:D

Clean as a whistle and performing like new. I am ecstatic. The distilled vinegar soak overnight did the trick. Looked in the bottom of the glass and see many small black and brown particles in there.

Rinsed the exhaust tube with tap water. Rinsed the fill chamber with distilled water, gave it a couple pumps to flush the metal tube. Filled with my trusty peach Dakang and...... bingo huge vapor plume.

I feel much better now as I know the clog is repairable.

Well now you know the tube is aluminum...bad part is it will eventually eat through the tube...rinse well because it also creates an aluminum salt. Good for the stomach though. lol

The tube is not aluminum, it is magnetic (aluminum is not magnetic), I actually think it is plated copper. The lead (LEED, for natura) wire is soldered to the outside of the tube at the base where it enters the liquid chamber, solder will not adhear to aluminum so I am pretty sure it is plated copper or possibly plated steel. It shows no signs of rust and is smooth and has a shiny surface.

Huh...sounded like the way an automatic drip coffee pot is designed but evidently not. I gotta get this technology in my hands and stop buggin you I guess.

You really should give it a try nico. It is a different kind of vape and may not be for everyone, takes a little getting use to.
The benefits outway the odd look. Incredibly convenient. I counted the drops to fill this the other day. It holds 190 drops of liquid, close to 9ml. The batteries last for the entire fill and then some. No fumbling with carts or dripping or waiting for your cart to cool or switching between devices. You just vape for a few days without doing anything but pushing a button. How can it get any better than that? Naysayers will eventually be silenced.
