Oh, THAT'S not it! I looked it up, too, and I misspelled it. Well? I never sit around and read the credits on these old movies, so I only had the phonetic spelling. It's "Atouk," with a U. Anyway, it's Ringo Starr's character in the silly B-movie "Caveman." One of my favorites. That big guy (John Metuszak - and I'm SURE I spelled his name wrong) is the clan leader with the beautiful (ugh) mate (played by Ringo's wife, Barbara Bach), and Atouk is in love with her and keeps trying to steal her. So Tonda (the big guy) keeps chasing after Atouk, yelling, "A-TOOOOOOOK!" Well. I guess you had to be there.

Wow, I spelled it right? Amazing! I knew he died young, wasn't sure who he played for, though. Did the Raiders ever go back to Oakland, and if so, are they still there? I hate it when the teams move around, and who the hell are the Panthers, anyway? (I know who they are, but there are only supposed to be 28 teams, and there's some other new one, too, that I can't recall the name of right at the moment... "New" being in the last 20 years, of course.)

Also, speaking of movies, some friends and I are going Saturday. Yes!!!! Me!!!! A movie!!!! Woot!

They are in Oakland but considering moving to Las Vegas.

Wow, I just googled him. I remember him. Got this from Wiki so I'm not sure how accurate it is:
John Daniel "Tooz" Matuszak (December 25, 1950 – June 17, 1989) was an American football defensive end in the National Football League who later became an actor. He was the first draft pick of 1973 and played most of his career with the Oakland Raiders until he retired after winning his second Super Bowl in 1981. Matuszak participated in the 1978 World's Strongest Man competition, where he placed ninth. As an actor, he played the deformed Sloth in the 1985 movie The Goonies and Tonda in Caveman. His biography, Cruisin' with the Tooz, written with Steve Delsohn, was published in 1987. He had a premature death caused by an accidental propoxyphene overdose.[1] There were also traces of co--caine found in the blood stream.[2]
