that's absurd! and I'm having to get 90 days at a time. Normally it's not an issue, but for some reason this one is.

For my daily meds, I get mailorder. They are 90 days at a time. Except my antidepressant, they send that to me 30 days at a time.
That's the number of week days. Weekends didn't count apparently.
I wish I could get mail order. it's never been an issue before. One time they had to override the automated system, but it just took a phone call. This time the person who handles it, is out of the office til next week so the rest of em are trying to figure out what they can do and how to do it. Luckily I used to work with them, so they know me well. Just found out I just need a letter of medical necessity and they should be able to override it for 90 days. The bad part is, it's on the one thing that I think will help the most.......lidocaine patches.

The insurance doesn't cover all mine. I had to set up a payment deal with the pharmacy.
yeah usually, but these aren't narcotics. There was no problem with her writing 90 days, except either she forgot or it didn't get faxed right. It's lidocaine and only 1% more than you can buy OTC
that's kewl that you can get more at a time.
Yea, the insurance doesn't have a problem dishing out narcotics for me. The epidurals did the trick but they don't cover those anymore. This is the longest I've gone without one in some time. Glad I still have control over my arms.

In KY you have to get a drug test only max of 90 days on prescription, 30 days at a time. and a drug test for each prescription.
Seems to have been good for the Illegal shoot up drug trade.
Horrible for chronic pain sufferers though as you have to go thru pain clinics....

Burns me up when these dang ins co's waste so much money, but won't pay for something that helps someone! I go back in on Sept 6th for more steroid shots in my spine, but he's gonna do em in a different place and we'll see if that works.I'm fine. Jup......I threw a mini fit on Friday when I had to pee in a cup. Big sign over the sink saying due to regulations the water in this sink must remain off. Or something like that. I told em in no uncertain terms how gross that was........make ya pee, then don't let ya wash yur hands. I'd think regulations would require water to be ON! There is hand sanitizer outside the bathroom door and then you can wash in the exam room but still.......that's just plain gross. And I'm so drug dumb, I didn't even know the reason til I asked. She said cuz people would dilute the pee with water.......I figured they'd be able to tell that on a test, but maybe not.
Yea, I'd get them in the dura part of the spine in my neck. I hope it works for you. They really helped me a lot!
thanks hun. Me too, but ya can't take em forever. The others they did helped some, but made the sciatic pain so bad I couldnt stand it. He thinks doing it in another area will alleviate that. he's gonna do these ones under anesthesia.......not sure why though, they didn't with others. Had either 8 or 16 pokes last time each time I'd go.
