Interesting..I live in Toronto and didn't feel a damn thing...not even the dog acted strange. Well, no stranger than usual anyway..
5.0 isn't too bad. I've been through one and all I thought was that a moving truck had gone by a little closer to the house than usual. It's the 6.0 and ups that let you know something underground is really unhappy. Living next to a couple volcanoes, I get a little nervous then!
Just checked the USGS and it seems we had a 4.2 just SE of Mt. Rainier "America's Most Dangerous VOLCANO" 6 days ago and I didn't notice it either. Mt. Rainer is more than a little overdue to pop they say. Hope the wind's blowing east when it does!
