I picked up a used Zen Ash 2 this week. It's really well made. The machining is outstanding. Very beautifully and solidly made. Mine doesn't taste right yet so I will rebuild the wick and coil tomorrow. Compared to my Noble 1, it has a funky taste. I can't blame the
device since I am new to the wick and coil building thing. I took off a coil tonight and it calmed WAY down. The down sides are: it is heavy, has no lock ring, the top cap snaps on and it uses standard drip tips. A
device of this quality really should have a secure cap and drip tip, as well as a firing button lock mechanism. These are just nits I am picking at since these come from marketing commentary like "We're not satisfied with second best."
FYI, Zen is supposed to release the Zenesis 2 June 7th so you might want to wait to pick one up. It looks much more modular so you can
buy just what you want rather than a fixed system. Quality wise, I don't see what they will improve. What I image the Zen 2 will do better is being more user friendly since they have announced the designs are open source and for that I applaud them.
