I'm seriously contemplating stocking up on 20+ years of nicotine to mitigate my risk against a doomsday scenario. No, no...not that mayan nonsense...I'm talking about gobbernment regulation. So, I've got a few questions I hope you can give me some feedback on.

  1. Would 100mg nicotine in 100% PG freeze solid if kept in a chest freezer @ 32f?
  2. Does keeping nicotine near frozen even help preserve it?
  3. At what % rate does nicotine lose it's potency over the course of say a year? (assuming 100mg in 100pg)

Feel free to given any more long term plan advice! I've just started thinking about this...

1.no
2. yes big time it thrives in the cold
3. not sure but I have some Nic that is 2yrs old in the deep freeze and its still fine

Great answer.
The nicotine will probably not lose any potentcy. Only a very small amount if any.

Keep in mind that unless you have a generator running around the clock you probably won't have power. ;)

Ditto to posts #2 and #3. PG does not freeze at household freezer temperature. It is very viscous. The same is true of VG. You would be storing all three.. nic, PG and VG
Contrary to water, VG and PG actually shrink when cooled if I am remembering correctly.
So when you are filling your bottles if the PG/VG is cool then you should leave some space so it does not overflow when it goes up in temperature.
