Last year, I quit for 9 months with eGo twists and 24mg vanilla juice. I never researched anything. I started smoking again and I kept it up for 3 months before I quit again almost a month in this time.
The difference was this time, I got smarter and came back here and reads tons and got better juice and although I still have the eGos, I almost bought a nice SS vamo as well as provari mini. I use pro tanks on them right now and I'm good with cleaning them and I've had no issues. The eGos are now sitting in case of an emergency and the vamo I use at home as it's bulky even with the 18350 batteries in it. My daily buddy now is the provari mini. I love it.
I am interested in moving up to a Kayfun or a Russian RBA for both as I've heard this makes it all about 'flavour'. (Canadian spelling
I have read lots about buying genuine vs a clone and I have no issue paying more for OEM if it's worth it. Is it?
Which is really better? I know opinion counts for a lot.
I have heard the Russian is harder to build than the Kayfun. I'm assuming it becomes like second nature if you are mechanically inclined?
Although I just joined the Provari 'cult' and I know I'm a newbie and have no right to put it down, I do have to say the angled neck truly sucks when you are trying to get a nice fit without a beauty ring.
I have looked for the provari beauty ring and they are somewhat hard to find in Canada. I can get it state side as well as import from the UK but I've heard that they are hard to seat and a bit of a pain in the '#$#' to fit properly.
I also heard of a 'hippo' that would work on the provari if I went with the kayfun and is that the better route to go?
Or should I keep an everyday protank on the provari and used it as my daily driver and spruce up the vamo a bit?
Thanks bunches.
I don't think I'm going to get into mods. I like the provari so much already. I huck it in my jacket pocket while I work. (I train horses on the ground) and I swear it's like having a short-head screwdriver in your pocket. It's dependable and I work outside all of the time.
Thoughts? Sorry for the 'newbie' slant and the lack of 'technical' knowledge thus far.
On a lighter note, I've spent WAY more money this quit. I think I spent 200 bucks last time in 9 months. I'm pushing a grand in LESS than a month.
I want to order an RBA in the next few days and have it here within another few after that.
My local B&M is going to show me how to build it.
If I buy the RBA and the materials from them, they sit down and help you build your first one to make sure you know what you are doing.
Cheers,
Serendipity
