Alf was from the day when you could safely watch prime time TV with your kids.
Agreed! It was my son's favorite show and he loved to watch it with my dad, his fave grandpa. Dad would laugh his head off right along with my son. He was Alf for Halloween two years in a row, had Alf as his birthday party theme, and had the talking stuffed animal, too. Great memories!

Liked it too, always been partial to the smart allec ventriloquist humor.

I am a bad influence on the grand kids they watch shows like

Simon and Simon
Cannon
Night Rider
Dukes of Hazard
Gilligan's Island
Beverly Hillbillies
And the like. You know, when people used to do the right thing.

Nothing weird good wholesome TV
