Thick juice in in tanks

I just ordered my first DCT from madvapes, along with some Boba's bounty and hype. I ordered the 1.5 and 3.0 ohm triple hole pre-punched cartos from madvapes and will be vaping on a maxi roughstack at 3.7 and 7.4v. I hear that boba's is one of the thickest juices out there. Should I expect burning or dry hits at 7.4v without enlarging the carto holes?

I have no experience with dual-coil, but I vape Boba's in my tank all the time, using 3 ohm Boge cartos with only 2 holes punched (although 3 wouldn't be a bad thing). I condom-fill the carto first, and have had no issues with thicker juices up to this point.

I'm using a 1.5 DCT on my ego twist, and it is okay at best. Nice taste and vapor, but I can get better with my 3.0 single coil tank. I would like to try it on a passthrough VV mod without a restrictor.

If necessary you can slot the carto with a Dremel or thin the juice with some distilled water. Just a few drops may be all that's required.

Sorry to hijack, but I have a similar question...

So I'm using mostly Ms. T's liquids, which don't give the specific VG/PG ratio, but it does say on her site that they are a little more VG than PG (I'm assuming it's 60VG/40PG).

How many holes should I punch in a single coil cartomizer to use with her juice and a DCT?

Seems to be a matter of preference; some punch 1 with thinner juices (heavy on PG, lighter on VG), some punch 2 or more with heavier juices (heavier on VG, lighter on PG). Experiment; cartos aren't prohibitively expensive.

Slotted cartos work much better with thicker Juices. Not everyone is comfortable cutting them with a Dremel. There are several Videos on Youtube on how to do so. A good one is by Pbsardo.

Thicker %100 vg juice will need a bigger whole if your just going to use a punched carto. Save yourselve some $ and just go to a homedepot or lowes and get a Saddle clamp from plumping dept the work great and are a lot cheaper then most carto punches online.
