Hate for my first post to be a long one, but here it goes. I recently switched ejuice suppliers, and noticed that it seems leaking a little more than what I had been getting before. Now I know there's probably gonna be a little ,otherwise you wouldn't need to clean and maintain your battery, but how much leaking is normal? And will it mess up my battery? I'm using a tesla spider w/ a protank II clone, dual coil at 1.8 ohms. The first juice was a 60 pg/40 vg w/ 18mg nic, the second is 20pg/80 vg at a nic level of 16. Thanks for any advice and info.

Hey Melanie Mitchem, I use a mechanical style mod and an igo-w dripper and it leeks through the 510 connection somewhat. I clean the connection area every day when I go to sleep, I haven't had and battery problems cleaning it daily. As far as the juice goes higher PG juice usually leaks more due to the nature of PG vs VG. I don't know what's the deal with the more leaking from the higher VG juice, sorry. Hope this helped!

Hello and welcome to the forum Melanie. Glad to have you here!:)

Batteries still need to be cleaned/maintained, juice leakage or not. Your 2nd juice (20PG/80VG) should be thicker. Not all juice manufacturers list their juice in PG/VG order. Some sell VG/PG.

To fix a flooded atomizer take your tank off the battery and blow through the mouthpiece (with a paper towel under it or cover the airflow hole). This will drain the extra eliquid.

When you inhale, take a long smooth draw vs a short sharp draw. This will prevent extra eliquid from being pulled into your coils and flooding it. Inhalation technique with an e-cigarette

Whenever you first sense that your atomizer is beginning to flood try this:
1. Open up the airflow so when you take a hit you are not pulling in as much juice into your coils (if your tank has airflow control) .
2. Raise your voltage or wattage if your battery allows you to do this. This will vaporize more eliquid.
3. Tip your battery up (and take a few hits). By tipping it up you will prevent more eliquid from being fed into the coils.

Give one or all of these a try.:)

Hi Txnow333, and I agree I think the problem might be the tank/coils also. Someone else already mentioned using a clone as opposed to the actual product. I'm going to talk to the gentleman at Madvapes next time I go get more juice. It appears he has given me much better advice than the lady at happy vapes. The one who swore by the clone. Thank you for the feedback.
