Hi guys first new member post here. I have some 80 pg 20 vg 24 mg juice that I would like to adjust to 60 pg 40 vg and lower the nic level in the process. How much vg to use? And what nic level I would get the bottle is 30ml. Thanks guys I hope you can help as I don't want to bin it.

If you add 10 mL 100% VG, you'll end up with 40 mL of 18mg juice with a PG/VG of 60/40
ETA: Here's the math
1. 30 mL of 80p/20v gives you 24mL of PG and 6mL of VG
2. You want 60% pg, so take your 24mL and divide by 60% (24 / 0.6) to get total volume of 40mL
3. To get total volume of 40mL, you need to add 10mL VG to your existing 30mL
4. Started with 24mg of 30mL juice -> 24 * 30 = 720 total mg nic
5. Now, divide total mg nic by new volume of juice -> 720 / 40 = 18 mg juice

Lol, my brain was at near bursting point also. I was working out in % and ended up at 19.2 mg by adding 20%/ 6ml of vg to the mix. It all sounded wrong to me and probably was. Thanks for the math lesson i really need it today ( the perils of too much sat night alcohol) many thanks for your time and answer.

Side note - your flavor will dilute somewhat because of the addition of unflavored VG
Gonna add a few drops of ry4 special flavouring to pep it up a bit.

I'm guessing you are talking about the original 80/20? Same philosophy:
30 mL of 80p/20v is 24mL pg and 6mL vg
You want the 24mL to be only 40% of the total liquid volume so divide 24 by 40% (24 / 0.4) to give you 60 mL total liquid. You only have 30mL now, so you would need to add 30 mL of 100% vg. Since you're doubling the volume of liquid, you'll cut your nic in 1/2 and end up with 12mg nic in your 60 mL juice.

Lol, I did tell you guys I had a hangover yesterday. Yeah it should have read the way you answered it. My brain had at some point melted I think. I've been vaping for 4 years but never adjusted shop bought juice, so it was more of a feeler post to see if any of you guys had the correct info.
