ahh! Finally a reply, Thank you very much. I was thinking people thought I was stupid for posting this. Thank you!

I am very new and appreciate any little thing that I can learn. Not stupid at all. You never know who might really need info like this!

Thanks everyone! PrincessDee, are you sure jewelry cleaner is good to clean something that will hold liquid to vape? I could be wrong but I think there might be some nasty chemicals in jewelry cleaner.

Most Jewelry cleaner is just very mild soap. Silver Jewelry cleaner however is much more abrasive.

Im the kind of person who likes figuring out things myself and I hope by me posting this, I will help others out also.

7. Sometimes if you have a weird taste that is not quite a burned flavor, try blowing out your cartomizer onto a paper towel with a few puffs of air. If the liquid is darker than it was when you put it in there, that could be the problem. just blow it all out and start over.

8. A good way to smoke it to get the maximum flavor to me is by inhaling it with the lips slightly open allowing air to flow in your mouth with the vapor. I have noticed when I do this, the flavor gets very strong.

Hope everyone has a great day!
Thanks for reading.

Thank you for this tip! I knew there was no way I had already used up one of my cartos, and decided to try this. It definitely worked! It's still producing vapor with no burned taste and now the funky weird taste is gone.

Awesome! glad my tip helped you!

Another tip, If you do not have a necklace case for your cig to do the tarwyn spin (I think that's what its called) just put the cap that goes onto the battery end back onto the cartomizer and then take a piece of any kind of tape and pull off about a 12" section connect it to one side of your cart and twist up the rest. Giving you a cart on a tape string basically, just spin it around. Viola, disposable spinning string!

1. I have noticed after washing out a used cartomizer, upon drying, the inner tube "wick" will shrink slightly, So I feel like it may be best to keep them wet and just keep dripping liquid inside of it. If it shrinks up, it will become harder to take a drag.

2. Its good to have multiple batteries.

3. Do not drop your auto batteries. It could cause the liquid to splash up into the battery. If this happens *it happened to me* take a paper towel and roll it up into a little spike and stick it inside of the battery to remove the liquid. Keep repeating until there is no more liquid on the paper towel spike. Be sure not to activate your battery or you may cause it to short out. After cleaning it, you may want to sit it aside for a day to let any remainder liquid dry or just keep trying to wick out the remainder.

4. Red bull flavored liquid tastes nothing like redbull but actually rockstar energy drink *slightly cherry

5. If you keep your cartomizer wet and topped off it will not burn for a while. I've been using the same one for about 2 weeks straight now. But sometimes I think there are cartomizers that are better than others even if its form the same pack. Ive had ones with more and less filler and also different metal wire positions. I guess sometimes you just get lucky and get one with the ideal conditions for a long lasting cartomizer.

6 Video - TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting whenever my cart is gurgling, I do this and it fixes it. It lines up the inside and also removes excess liquid from the inner wick. Do not force it through though, just wiggle it around until you feel it gently falling into place.

Hi Scott!
How (exactly) and how often do you need to clean a cartomizer? I can't seem to find this anywhere. I'm new at this

I agree. Sorry for taking a long time. My computer monitor recently caught fire!
If you start getting an odd taste I would say first, blow some of it out and refill. Honestly, Ive never cleaned any of mine. I usually dedicate 1 cart per flavor and just keep topping them off.

I do however have an exciting breakthrough in cleaning the battery threads though!
No soaking required. just take a tiny dab of tooth paste and put it on a wash cloth. Then just put your threaded part of the batter and grasp it firmly with the toothpasted(new word!) wash cloth ans twist a few times. It will instantly turn your threads chrome again instead of an icky gold color. I actually got excited at how well it worked!
